24 hour rule with Trump.

This is all beyond dumb.

Reading thru the whole thing again today ….

Considering everything they discussed and how they went about handling the Houthis, this country is in the best hands possible.

Hesgeth is the freaking man.

And you all know this.  The only thing you want to do is say “haha look how dumb they are they don’t know how to use an app.”

Ok, Team Hillary did nothing wrong.  Good luck with that.

He’s lying:

Hegseth is a sad excuse for a man who was so lost in a bottle he let some random yahoo into an unsecured chat room to discuss national security of the United States.

You are completely, utterly brainwashed. It took 3 months.

Biden admin approves Signal use government wide.

CIA and DOD use Signal.

The Trump Admin used Signal.

Now the Democrat party is trying to pretend like it's a crime that they used Signal.

This playing wonderfully to the 27% and shrinking base.

This also reminds me of "my dog ate my homework" kind of excuse. Complete bull sh it.

Only 3 months. I can't wait to see what happens next week?

perhaps you should read the CIA directors words today more carefully

https://www.yahoo.com/news/cia-director-flails-asked-added-164619410.html?fr=sycsrp_catchall

“Now hold on Senator, you are mischaracterizing my testimony—”

“You answered the question, let me ask you. When he was added to the thread—you’re the CIA director! Why didn’t you call out that he was present on the Signal thread?”

“I don’t know if you use Signal messaging app—”

“I do! Not for classified information. Not for targeting.”

“Well neither do, I, Senator, neither do I, Senator.”

“Well that’s what your testimony is today!”

Good thing they didn't get a US ambassador murdered by Houthi's. Then you'd have to defend them I guess.

Why was the reporter in the chat in the first place?

@sherpa @Joe Ferguson forever

I hate to spoil the party here, but I believer Sherpa is a retired Navy pilot and current winemaker and that Fergy is a retired doctor with pretty good taste in music.

Both of you have made some good comments here. I may have even learned a thing or two. That's more than I can say for a lot of other people. Maybe just agree to disagree on a few things; you may just have more in common than you think.

No he just leaked strike plans.  We’ll never know who might have escaped.  Indefensible by any objective measure.  Just because someone else did something wrong doesn’t mean that this foolishness and breach of trust should not result in termination.  Loose lips sink ships, right?

The information was not leaked to the Houthis, at least not by any credible report, so it had no impact.

The strike was extremely successful.

It was a clear screw up, but conjecture without evidence, ie., any real harm, is being used for political purposes.

I give them one major screw up.

But....The major screw up was not getting offensive re the Houthis in the first place, and that was entirely on Biden Inc.

Requested by the fleet commander and refused, so we defended $300 drones with $1 million missiles, to the point of drawing down those weapons to dangerous levels.

Eventually, an F-18 was shot down by our own forces, and it was damn near miraculous that a second one, in close trail, was not.

Search results for “scum”

the good doctor 58

Sherpa 0

Search results for “Nazi”

the good doctor 194

Sherpa 27 - not one of which was used in a name-calling manner.

Please don’t disrespect this gentleman that served his country proudly by comparing him to an over-emotional loon.

So if I’m not playing conspiracy theorist - based on what I know of the app - Waltz very well mistakingly added him thinking he was someone else.

While, bad, it’s an American war hawk journalist.  My belief is had this been any other administration he says nothing about this.  That reporters learn things before hand all the time.  And say nothing.

It’s Trump.  So he’ll be glad to.

His b.s. trying to play the high road “unlike this administration I care about our national security interests or secrets” or whatever the hell he said.

He’s lying.

bs...trump admonished biden for attacking the houthis.  are you being purposefully ignorant or just run out of articles in high quality publications?

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/trump-attacked-bidens-crazy-yemen-war-now-hes-reopening-it/ar-AA1B6eMC

Candidate Donald Trump thought that bombing Yemen was "just a failed mentality" when then-President Joe Biden did it. "It's crazy. You can solve problems over the telephone. Instead, they start dropping bombs. I see, recently, they're dropping bombs all over Yemen. You don't have to do that. You can talk in such a way where they respect you and they listen to you," Trump said in a May 2024 interview with podcaster Tim Pool.

Trump is now dropping bombs all over Yemen.
