Because apparently some people have nothing better to do than obsess over other people's identities 24/7.

 

Well maybe if those views of that life style weren't pushed down every one else's throats while watching TV in commercials, and in books in schools, and in parades of them dancing down the streets half naked and doing things in public that just are not proper in a public setting then maybe there wouldn't be as many posts about this subject .

 

I don't have to have let every one on the planet know my sexual orientation weather you be an adult or a minor ! My thing is live and let live, if that's what you want to do have at it but don't push it on me and mine, but that's not the way it goes in just about every case such as this if you say something about it your a homophobe .

 

So to your point if they wouldn't obsess about pushing it on others maybe there wouldn't be the push back because as I said every action has a equal or stronger reaction ...

I agree, but let’s be real - none of the threads bashing people who’ve existed forever were started by LGBTQ folks (as far as we know). So, let’s not pretend that their lifestyle is being forced down anyone’s throat here.
