I like the traits 💯 I really think he could be the pick at 30. If Kenneth Grant is there for the taking and the Bills pick Landon Jackson, I will put a bag over my head at the draft. 2 5 2 Quote

He has the same concerns. Below average route anticipation and ability to drive on routes, lack of hip fluidity leading to issues with coverage transitions, handsy which will mean penalties in the NFL, good when he can press and get his hands on but inconsistent in any other situation. I have no interest in that experiment again. Revel and Hairston still strike me as the cleanest fits for our scheme. The more time that passes the more I really like Hairston in particular. When you watch some of his tape he has an elite ability to drive on routes because of his natural speed and his instincts. In the modern NFL where quick game passing has become so important, I think this trait needs to be weighed more heavily. 2 1 1 Quote

Completely agree with you about Thomas giving off Elam vibes … I’ll pass… even at 30 with no thought of moving up for him … Revel and Hairston are of more interest to me …. Could even both be there well into the second … Joe Marino mentioned that Hairston has an off field allegation from his early college days that might put some teams off him … 1 Quote

I would to to get some favorable trades in this draft for this draft. But I don't think anyone will be be bidding to get to 30 , unless its a QB needy team 1 Quote
DJB Posted Tuesday at 10:28 PM Posted Tuesday at 10:28 PM I wish we were within range to trade up for Travis Hunter. Instant dynamic #1 WR and he could certainly play as our CB2 Two of our biggest needs with one stone 1 1 Quote

I would like to keep our first and second round picks, and try and add a 3rd round pick. I want 2 CB, Edge, DT, WR in this draft. A couple of 1-Tech's (Priority #1 imo, one early), a 3-Tech, a couple CB's (Priority #2 imo, one early), a WR (a speedy WR who can stretch the defense), a DE. That's 6 picks there. Quote

wppete Posted Tuesday at 11:11 PM Posted Tuesday at 11:11 PM (edited) This is good news. Giants now signed 2 vet QBs James Winston and Russell Wilson which hopefully means Abdul Carter or Travis Hunter don't fall to New England at #4. No way NYG pass on Carter or Hunter for Shedeur Sanders. Would be idiotic especially after this move. Edited Tuesday at 11:20 PM by wppete 1 1 Quote

CNYfan Posted Tuesday at 11:30 PM Posted Tuesday at 11:30 PM Giants may trade back and still grab the CO QB Quote
BigdaddyinOrlando Posted Tuesday at 11:37 PM Posted Tuesday at 11:37 PM I’m hoping one of the top three teams to pick wants to jump back into the end of round one and we trade w them and maybe get their third this year as compensation, not sure if the values line up . JMO 1 Quote

gonzo1105 Posted Wednesday at 12:19 AM Posted Wednesday at 12:19 AM I think it’s less likely now especially if the Giants pass on a QB which is more likely now but if the Giants still take Sansers, I wonder if the Patriots would consider the possibility of taking Jeanty. Everyone seems locked in on OT or the other two in Carter/Hunter Quote

HappyDays Posted Wednesday at 01:42 AM Posted Wednesday at 01:42 AM Quote The Buffalo Bills have a private dinner with Bond on Thursday night in Austin followed by a private workout Friday. He visits the Cleveland Browns, Green Bay Packers, participates in the Atlanta Falcons’ local prospect day and then visits the Bills. Bond had 13 formal meetings at the scouting combine, per a league source, including the San Francisco 49ers, Cleveland Browns, Green Bay Packers, Indianapolis Colts, New Orleans Saints, Los Angeles Chargers, Tennessee Titans, Chiefs, Jacksonville Jaguars and the Buffalo Bills. Bond made a strong impression, per multiple NFL teams. 2 Quote

Especially financially. WR’s are the ones getting paid and if he goes to NE or Cleveland he instantly becomes their #1 WR. NE already has two good corners and while Cleveland has a corner need they have been the one team that seems to be open to him playing both positions frequently. I also think he’s a better WR than corner However I do understand that playing full time corner and part time WR would be the easiest transition for him Quote
