I get Elam vibes from Thomas... He has the same concerns. Below average route anticipation and ability to drive on routes, lack of hip fluidity leading to issues with coverage transitions, handsy which will mean penalties in the NFL, good when he can press and get his hands on but inconsistent in any other situation. I have no interest in that experiment again.

 

Revel and Hairston still strike me as the cleanest fits for our scheme. The more time that passes the more I really like Hairston in particular. When you watch some of his tape he has an elite ability to drive on routes because of his natural speed and his instincts. In the modern NFL where quick game passing has become so important, I think this trait needs to be weighed more heavily.

Completely agree with you about Thomas giving off Elam vibes … I’ll pass… even at 30 with no thought of moving up for him …

 

Revel and Hairston are of more interest to me  …. Could even both be there well into the second … Joe Marino mentioned that Hairston has an off field allegation from his early college days  that might put some teams off him …

If this were to happen the bills would be in a great spot.  Someone will trade up for him and teams overpay for qb’s, someone might give us a 3 this year and 2. Ext year to move up a few spots.

I like the way you think. I would to to get some favorable trades in this draft for this draft. But I don't think anyone will be be bidding to get to 30 , unless its a QB needy team

He's going to be the opposite at the NFL 

 

He's going to be a full-time corner playing 7 to 10 snaps at wide receiver 

 

He's way too valuable at corner which is his natural and highest upside position.. he could be a really really good WR but he can't play 90 snaps a game like he did in college the NFL is too physical 

 

And all his best traits point to a super high level corner who can play some wide receiver

A couple of 1-Tech's (Priority #1 imo, one early), a 3-Tech, a couple CB's (Priority #2 imo, one early), a WR (a speedy WR who can stretch the defense), a DE. That's 6 picks there.

This is good news. Giants now signed 2 vet QBs James Winston and Russell Wilson which hopefully means Abdul Carter or Travis Hunter don't fall to New England at #4. No way NYG pass on Carter or Hunter for Shedeur Sanders. Would be idiotic especially after this move.

I think it’s less likely now especially if the Giants pass on a QB which is more likely now but if the Giants still take Sansers, I wonder if the Patriots would consider the possibility of taking Jeanty. Everyone seems locked in on OT or the other two in Carter/Hunter

I think there is more to it than that. Especially financially. WR’s are the ones getting paid and if he goes to NE or Cleveland he instantly becomes their #1 WR. NE already has two good corners and while Cleveland has a corner need they have been the one team that seems to be open to him playing both positions frequently. 
 

I also think he’s a better WR than corner 

 

However I do understand that playing full time corner and part time WR would be the easiest transition for him
