Sorry, totally unrealistic.

Probably.  But you never know.

I've seen Grant dropping into the 25-35 range in quite a few mocks.  D-Line is pretty deep in this class and not everyone values the bigger guys (not sure we do either), so it's possible he could drop to us.  The big hurdle is probably the Chargers, who need a DT and have his old coach.

Amos is usually in the 35-45 range.  Our first pick on Day 2 is at 56, thanks to the Stefon Diggs trade.  Perfect place for a trade-up.  We could probably move up 10-15 spots with one of our 4th Round picks.

I've seen about 11-12 edge rushers ranked as 1st/2nd Round guys.  Not unrealistic that someone we like lasts until 62.

Rumors have been circling that Williams could be available in a trade.  Would likely take a mid/late round pick, since he's also going to be a free agent soon.  He's pretty much what we are missing in the passing game.  The big issue is contract.

Wait...why would Detroit trade its recent 1st round pick Jameson Williams -- coming off his first 1,000 yard season -- for a 4th?

Is this just something people are trying to wishmagine into existence?

Not sure if he's really available (or how much he would cost).  But there has definitely been talk.

Another clown to add to the circus.

if I was the Titans GM, I’d say on second thought we think you’re a loser Cam and trade the pick

Sometimes we get a reminder that these guys are not very smart. And the funny thing is that Cam Ward spent two years playing in Pullman, WA which is also cold with nothing to do.

Browns and Texans make a trade.

Cleveland sends three 2025 picks to Houston in exchange for a 5th-round pick and a 2027 5th-round pick

Cleveland acquired a 2025 fifth-round pick (No. 166) and a 2027 fifth-round pick from Houston in exchange for No. 179 and No. 216 in the sixth round and No. 255 in the seventh round of the 2025 draft.

I don’t get this at all.  Why do this now?

It's wild to me how much talk is floating around about Malaki Starks. EVERYONE who covers the Bills is pushing the idea that the Bills may do it and talking about the merits or pitfalls of doing so. It makes me wonder how we've gotten here. Did Bills brass float something out there? Is it a smokescreen?

I find it interesting that at no time in this predraft process was it reported that the Bills had Kenneth Grant in for a top 30 visit. That's my guy right there too.

Now, the list I follow only has 23 out of the 30 visits reported, so he may have been and we don't know it...but if not I would call the odds long we hear the Bills call his name on night 1 even if he is there for us.

If I'm not wrong the only time Beane selected a guy not in for a top 30 visit in a non COVID situation was Kincaid.

That or Starks' people trying to up his draft stock at the last minute.

If we get to around 28 and we're still standing pat, the board isn't falling right, and Jaxson Dart is on the board - I pretty much expect we're trading out to them.

I'm okay with 34 and 99 for 30.

WTF?   They make this trade before they know who is available, and it is 13 spots for two other late round picks?

I don't see the reasoning

Houston must have needed an additional 5th for a planned deal to move up (tackle?).  Probably not enough time on the clock to approve 2 separate trades.

Cause they really want Emmanwori, but want everyone to think they want Starks. That way people think they're ok at 30 waiting for Starks and teams don't jump them.

What has Will Johnson all of a sudden slipping by prognosticators? It seemed to me like up until less than a week ago, he was a given to go in like the top 12 picks. But over the past few days, more and more Draft people have him within reach of us or outright falling to us. Did people start hearing things or something?

The Browns have 4 6th round picks and the 2nd to last pick in the 7th.  They move up into the 5th (which they currently didn't have).

They have to be thinking that no way are 5 6th and 7th rounders making the team.
