We have ONE thread pinned dedicated to talking about this draft, yet here you guys go dragging it into the weeds with the other 100 threads about past drafts, Bills coaches, the KC game, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc.

Folks deserve to have one thread where they can go read about and discuss the draft without having to wade through dozens of repeated posts that can be found anywhere else in the forum.

PLEASE leave this ONE thread alone with all those rehashes and allow folks to have a place to conveniently read and discuss that subject.

Honestly, I find it more cumbersome to have one thread that ends up having 70, 80 or 100 pages to wade through.  I actually like separate threads on the various sub- topics that make up our pre-draft conversation.  That way I can look for the sub-topics I find more interesting, rather than look through one interminable thread looking for the interesting stuff.

I don't disagree with you. Folks are welcome to start threads on more specific subjects they want to talk about. I'm not trying to limit every draft discussion to this thread. I'm angling more to just curate at least one specifically dedicated just to this draft, so that anybody can pop in whenever they want and know there is guaranteed to be at least one place they can click on and read what's being discussed on the most current relative topic to the Bills. I have no intention of merging all the draft talk into one thread, but instead having at least one thread that is only draft talk.

Beane wouldn’t do this trade just knowing the GMs tendencies. He wouldn’t go almost a full 3rounds without a pick we all know that since the Bills wouldn’t pick until the 5th round comp picks. He def wouldn’t do it for Thomas who will very likely be there at 30 and possibly in the 40s.
 

I get the Bills-Vikes trade partner thing makes sense but the Vikings need more picks and the Bills aren’t the only team with em. I think Beane sticks to 30 this year unless someone drastic drops

Yep, I generally dislike mega-threads. I'll read a page or two but miss out on topics of interest in the weeds

Just because we talk to a guy means we are actually interested in him maybe they asking about him to learn about a team scheme/practice habits or even about a teammate. That or just trying to put up a smoke screen on who they really interested in. If there's one thing I notice about Beane he seems to prefers to take athletic guys vs lunch pail guys.

For comparison, in 2016 Rich Eisen posted a 5.94 (his personal best) 40 time in his yearly "Run, Rich, Run". He was 47 years old at the time.
