I turn on WGR this morning and hear them discussing the possible DTs...

And of course the big guy (Walker) is "too underdeveloped" in his lower body and all the 340 pounds is up high...

There's always a reason not to draft the big guys... If he was 298 pounds soaking wet then he would be a "high motor, high character guy" who would fit right in and disappear on gamedays. But I repeat myself.

I def. think he's worth drafting. Hopefully in the 4th. Even if we get one of those end of 3rd picks.

Basketball background 7' wingspan. The Bills training staff could really turn him into a monster and showcase his athleticism. BTW, the only GR opines that I can align with are Tasker and Browns.

Walker is top heavy and a slacker.  He is on Joe Marino’s Do Not Draft list

Joe Marino is on my Do Not Care list😏

Joe is the best Bills commentator there is IMO.  Super informed, well researched, and even headed when it comes to Bills matters.

I try to keep an open mind and think for myself but I generally find his takes to be spot on. I hadn’t seen much film on Kyle Williams or Ty Felton for example and when he mentioned them as two of his top receiver prospects I was blown away watching the tape.

I like Joe. Most of the more polished Bills reporters are not Bills fans, the people that are and podcast about the Bills are usually either boring or not too inciteful. Joe toes the line of being professional while being a Bills fan pretty well. However, I don’t think he is a great talent evaluator, despite his background as an online scout for the draft network. Prefer LockedOn during the season.

If this draft is truly void of impact players, it's best to trade down and try to get picks next year.  This year's draft is very "solid" but lacking true impact players, and that is what we need on defense. Granted, we can "upgrade" the D in rounds 2-4 in this draft, but getting a true impact player... I don't see it happening this year.

That impact player is a pretty general term tossed around Sooner.

For example , I can see that kid Thornton in the 4th round making a difference on how the offense rolls out because of his skill set over his "elite potential"

In the second round i might bet the Bills can find a player who could play 1tech with upside very well and effect the Def scheme tweak. Get two and you can roll at a 4-3 1st down or situational short yardage. We dont have that either.

Could find that gem at corner in the second as well.

Our friend here posted the seemingly absurd idea of getting 4 2nds !

If this draft truly is "solid " and only 12 -15 with true 1st round grades and 30 with true 2nd round , or early second round grades ? Our friend might not be too far off.

We both want 3 impact players I would be delighted with 4 starters in a least a rotational role.

Still think Bills can sincerely upgrade the Team with their first 3 picks if they can draw a hot hand from some wheelin and dealin to get their guys. BPA of Need lol

This would be sweet. Get that WR in the 4th too.

Some project players you just have to trust the process and pray Coaching and fit get the best out of him.

In the 4th ? No faith in the McDermott Way ? lol

If he is that far gone , Bills won't have him on the board even in the fifth

I’m convinced we’re going to trade up in the first.  It’s a weak draft board at the end of the 1st and we have too many picks in the later rounds.

Will be interesting - I think we trade down with the giants to 34, and get a late 3rd (99) while giving up one of our early 6’s (170 range)

My brother,TheVikings fan, is at their draft tomorrow.   He said he is definitely eating pancakes for Breakfast 🤣.

He has heard the same rumor, Bills swapping with Vikes for  picks if the right guy is there for us.

would be a likely team.  Up to 24 and they need picks.  4th?  Toss in a 6th?

A lot of Malaki Starks buzz going on in the interwebs right now. Take it for what it’s worth

I really like him, though I'm an UGA fan, so you can write that off as a built in bias. I personally think he's a bit better than your assessment in the excellent podcast you did with GunnerBill. In my view, he's a double that could stretch out to a triple, to use your analogy. Another way I'd put it. I think he has a high floor and a better ceiling than you may think. He has that intangible that makes plays.

Do you like him enough to pick at 30 or trade up a few spots over Nolen, Harmon or Grant?

Dane Brugler joins Peter Schrager and Ben Allbright

all 3 have us taking Malaki Starks

very intriguing. There has been almost no Bills talk about him prior to today that I’ve seen

There is stuff floating out there that Nolan could go as high as 11 to the Niners. He not falling to the Bills. Steam picking up about Grant to the Chargers and Harmon has injury concerns.

This all makes me very skeptical though because the Bills are an organization that tends to not have anything leak about them using free agency as an example. This Starks stuff coming out 24-48 hours about Bills-Starks doesn’t feel right unless they are trying to throw people off the scent
