Scourton is a little stiff, but I think he moves pretty well and I saw him be able to breakdown and make some tough open field tackles.  He has reportedly shed a considerable amount of weight and I’ve heard that is pro day performance was quite good, though I don’t know the numbers.

He is stiff on the A&M tape. Watch his Purdue tape. Dude is fluid.

I put last year down to A&M usage. He is better than that.

I do agree that Scourton is more of a power DE than an athletic one. He does have a repertoire of moves which is nice. I’d say he’s like George Karlaftis who has had a nice career but will admit I’ve been dropping him a bit in my rankings.

He fits the Bills first choice criteria of visiting and he is 20 years old. I’d prefer him after a trade down

I've moved him up in mine. He is a guy I'd be willing to bang the table for late first.

Out of curiousity, would you have any interest in doing a rotating mock with me like Mel and Field Yates do. I don’t know how we’d get it done but just a thought that had come into my head

I do like Scourton and the corners you identified.  I just don’t see a path to a CB in round 2 if they don’t take one at 30 (or with small trade down).

I know it’s TV and they need to say something, but I heard Mark Ross say that he thinks JT Tuimoloau could sneak into the end of round 1.  I kind of like JTT, but late first/early second seems too high to me.

So who else watches draft day before the draft?  Week of, night before whatever.

Come on...admit it.

I’ve watched it , it gets more disappointing every time I watch it

I wonder if the Tre signing means the Bills want to target one of the corners with a high ceiling (i.e., Porter) or needing to recover from an injury (Revel), understanding that these corners may need time to adjust (either because of system/experience or health) before being ready to start.  The Bills can go with White/Jackson opposite Benford as a bridge until the CB draft pick is ready to be the guy.

So trade Cook and draft Blue. Win, win.

I don’t think the trade market would be strong at all for Cook.  I’d be surprised if you could get a 4th for a guy who is good, but is looking for $15M as a non-full time RB in a year where the RB class in the draft is very good.

Cook + 4th  someone may give a 2nd

I'd gladly draft either player...in Round 2

Why do you think someone would trade roughly the equivalent of a 3rd for a RB who is looking for a big payday in a really strong draft for RBs?

Wouldn’t get much for Cook anyway. This draft is loaded with RBs. make him play this year and let him walk and get a compensatory pick next year. Probably better than trading him anyway. Cook doesn’t have many options  Kind if like what happened to U of Tennessee QB Nico. They overplayed their hand.

He may be BPA at 30 if the Bills really wanna stand pat. (considering everyone else is gone.) He won't get past KC or Philly.

Cook maybe gets you up two or three spots in the first round. You'd be better off trying to get a late second or early third round pick for him.

Jones is the type who would do the deal.  Cook and 30 for 12

who would the Bills take at #12?   Nolen?
