Currently projected as a late 3rd rounder.

He is the type of guy old school scouts love. All hustle, all effort, all power, full gas no breaks.... use every cliche going. But his pass rush is pathetic. I watched a bit of his film but abandoned it as an evaluation. If I don't think a guy is even going to be worth a 4th round grade on my board I just move on. Indicatively I thought he was a late day 3 player.

Yes i think he’s a better WR than corner. Both he’s tremendous at both .

Financially if he was smart he would focus on WR over corner with how the market is working if he’s looking to get paid .

Just my opinion

I disagree. I think his ceiling as a WR is a good #2 who is a big play maker rather than a volume guy. His ceiling as a corner is the best in the league.

That’s why the forums are fun right? We all get an opinion and don’t have to agree

If we all agreed it would be boring in here

So I guess his whole thing is he played off ball LB and very recently switched to EDGE.

Basically if you draft him you're betting on traits and potential for development.

I disagree on #62. If he is there with my first 2nd rounder I'd probably do it depending on the board. Agree at #30 though. That would feel a bit of a reach to me.

I didn’t mean to say that I would not consider him at 62, rather that it would not be a slam dunk “have to have him”.  I could understand pulling the trigger there, but I think there should still be other players at least considered.

Too bad we can't get anywhere near him in the draft.

Something that many are not focused on is a potential need at guard/center.  Given that McGovern and Edwards are free agents after this season (and Torrence after next season), I would not be surprised if we draft at least one guard/center in April.  Not sure if SGVP will be starting caliber and I don't think we have any guard prospects currently on  the roster.

I've been saying this for months.

Actually, the chances of Beane re-signing both McGovern and Edwards next year are close to zero.

Edwards should be considered for a trade for pick or player swap (CB).

I’d sign up for a Nolen + Alfred Collins combo in Round 1 & 2

I would love to get Nolen.

McGovern amd Torrence need extended asap.  Draft a guy to groom so he can take over Edwards spot.

I can totally see that they move on from McGovern because he's going to be in line for a Payday

I actually think Alec Anderson can get the first crack at that.. and he's going to be cheaper.. he's got experience all over the line.. and he's very athletic with a mean streak

He's actually the type of center I like.. a college tackle with limitations but has the perfect mean Streak for center

That's why the Duke kid was my number one center in the class he had really good film at tackle but just not quite NFL caliber tackle

But inside at center it's no brainer

I can see that especially since he didn't re-sign this spring.  We should keep an eye on camp and preseason as to the centers and how they

rank.
