Just 12 first round grades (for those who don't want to click to view)

Its weak at top, but the first 4 rounds are decent.  They are saying there is basically zero difference between pick 15-50.  These players grade similar,  teams draft

board specific needs.

That sounds about right honestly. With the players that Beane has brought in, I wouldn’t be surprised if we trade our first rounder to a team like Cleveland or the Giants, who wants to get a quarterback at the end of the round. That way we get their first round pick next year and maybe a third or fourth this year. Then next year when there is some great wide receiver talent like Jeremiah Smith or Ryan Williams we can nab one of them. Here’s hoping 🤞

My final mock.

170: Carson Vinison IOL

This is very true and it’s why this draft will be very fun but also very hard to predict.  A guy could go 25th or he could go 55th. Mockers this year including myself, are going to be more wrong than ever this year

Per Tony Pauline:

“There’s been a lot of talk over how weak the first round of this year’s draft is, and I’m told the Buffalo Bills have just 12 players graded as true first-round prospects. In the end, this means players taken in the bottom half of the initial frame are second-round talents.”

I don’t think we will be trading up if that’s the case. Maybe a trade down?

I always thought trading down was the more likely scenario. When you get to this late in the first, the 1st round board is wiped out. Now even though I’m sure they have a lot more 2nd round grades, if the Bills have 12 first round grades, by the time 62 comes around their 2nd round board is very likely going to be wiped out as well.  I would expect them to either trade up from 56 or 62 especially after moving down from 30

Rumor was that they had Cook as a 3rd round prospect and that’s why they made those two micro trades before taking him in that draft.

Would take more than 30 and 56 to move up to 15. JJ chart has 15 worth 1050, 30 worth 620 and 56 worth 340.  Other value charts are more severe. Prob would cost 30, 56 and 109 (maybe more) and that's a price too steep.  Don't like a safety at 109 - they seem to like Bishop and signed Forest from PHI.  Get me a speedster at WR at 109 (Horton or Thornton maybe). We won't a pick on a QB this year, maybe next year.

Its amazing how many “insiders” have all this secret information from teams. All of them “have been told” from teams….. its hilarious because you cant prove or disprove what they are saying. Just throwing things out there for clicks and in hopes something comes true. Its a numbers game. The Definition of “Fake News”

Joe Buscaglia's seven round mock draft for The Athletic:

https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6288039/2025/04/21/bills-nfl-mock-draft-2025-trey-amos/

He has us trading pick 30 and 169 to the Giants for picks 34 and 99. Then trading up in the third with the Vikings. Final haul is below.

Personally, I'd be happy with this class. Hits every need with a high upside player. Ticks the boxes for the obligatory "o-lineman and scrappy ST linebacker that may never see the field". All in all, feels like a pretty realistic and satisfactory draft.

I swear I've had this exact mock except sub Collins in for Sanders and no friggin punters... but hearing that Sanders is actually projected to play the 1T, I don't know how he'd hold up but the player is fine.

Honestly we are only hearing what teams want to be heard. They are all trying to get people to fall or get teams to panic and trade with them.

You can't believe anything at this point. It's mind games.

Wow! No defensive tackles at all. We need two at least.

Those two WR’s can’t come out until 27 I believe

And yes Smith is definitely a candidate to go first overall he’s that good . He would be a top 5 WR right now in the NFL

Jackson feels like a Billsy pick. And I like him. But I read a bio that compared him to AJ Epenesa. AJ is ok, but I think we need more. But this regime has types they target so it makes sense that he would be a guy they like.

Second round feels more appropriate imo, but projections are all over the place.

Saw some interviews with Oladejo and dug into a little more tape. Impressed. Starting to think I really like him at #56. He's what the Bills lack in dynamism from the edge. High upside and sounds like a walking talking Process.
