Schwesinger is very much their type of player. I guess if they took him my question is how are they using him in year 1. I wouldn’t love but I wouldn’t hate it either.

I have him going 26th to the Rams but he could go as high as 19 to the Bucs with Campbells uncertain shoulder situation.

Oladejo I believe I have going in the 50s but I’m not right in front of of my computer

Adam Schefter released his Monday Draft notes and had one Bills mentioned that I haven't even seen discussed the past month...

"UCLA linebacker Carson Schwesinger, projected by many as a Day 2 pick, has a chance to go in the end of Round 1 to a team such as the Commanders (No. 29) or Bills (No. 30) that might be be looking for additional defensive help."

Going LB in the first would be create some content.

Tony Pauline had the same comment in two different articles a week or two ago. I’d be pretty shocked but it is definitely out there that we like him

With Milano's history with injuries this would not shock me. I prefer they go DL in Rd 1.

Dorion Williams is just fine as our backup or successor to Milano.

Unless the Bills think this kid is Kuechly huge pass on LB in round 1

And for the record on Schwesinger he’s the complete opposite of T Edmund’s .

Edmunds had the size, speed and physical traits but plays like Jane and has zero instincts . One of the dumbest LB I’ve seen play.

Schwesinger is the opposite. Intelligence, can diagnose plays and plays with intensity. But he lacks size, speed and physicality. I don’t think he will ever be a dominant NFL LB

I think if they are willing to go that direction they must think he’s close. He does have really good natural instincts and is sure tackler but to me it’s like okay Milano is gone next year and Williams remains the primary backup but what does he do in year 1 unless the plan is to play 4-3 more but the. What happens with Taron Johnson. I’d have a lot of questions not on the player but how he’ll be utilized

Hes 6’2 242 at the combine and 238 at his pro day I wouldn’t call that a lack of size.  Speed who knows but he excelled at the explosion drills like the broad and Vertical. Lot of upside still too since he’s a former walk on who didn’t play a lot early in his college career.

With that said Schefter is getting this from an agent so it’s very possible he’s trying to put pressure on a team interested in him to move up or for a team ahead of the Commanders and Bills to select him

While I'm 100% (well...maybe 90%) against the Bills taking a LB before the 4th Round, I do think Schwesinger is a heck of a good prospect and definitely worthy of a 2nd Round Draft Pick... B-)

If we go with a  big DT then this guy, look for us to move to more of a 4-3.  CB would almost certainly the next 2nd round pick.

I have seen him listed as high as 242lbs recently.  I know he had a good half season, after they move Oledejo to DE, but he hardly played before that.  Seems a small sample size to spend a 1st round pick on.

I think this is more smoke - they are planning to play Milano and Bernard and I don’t think they will take a LB in the first to be the plan for 2026.  Late 2nd?  Maybe, but even that feels to rich for a guy to stash for a season.

Dane Bruegler compares him to Milano in his ability to recognize plays and fly to the ball. There's a good case for picking him with the first of the two second-round picks, with CB and DT right before and after (in either order). Would be a forward-looking pick. I loved Bernard in 2023, but he was a lesser player last year: small, slow, and injured. A Williams-Schwesinger pairing might be elite in 2026.

Bernard having a down year imo was a direct correlation from Daquan Jones having a down year.  Which is why I think 1T is the most important position to draft and why I am hoping they come away with 2 of them.

Joe Buscaglia's seven round mock draft for The Athletic:

https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6288039/2025/04/21/bills-nfl-mock-draft-2025-trey-amos/

He has us trading pick 30 and 169 to the Giants for picks 34 and 99. Then trading up in the third with the Vikings. Final haul is below.

Personally, I'd be happy with this class. Hits every need with a high upside player. Ticks the boxes for the obligatory "o-lineman and scrappy ST linebacker that may never see the field". All in all, feels like a pretty realistic and satisfactory draft.

"l'm getting some medical information about [Texas DL Alfred Collins] that might not be great," analyst Bryan Broaddus said in a recent interview with Cowboy's' reporter Jeff Cavanaugh. That might cause a couple guys to slide. Maybe him. Maybe Harmon from Oregon. Maybe a couple sliders there."

Broaddaus declined to detail specific injury concerns with either player. Collins' injury situation is more transparent than Harmon's.

He was spotted wearing a boot during his

Longhorns' Pro Day, though the injury severity is unknown.

If Harmon drops to 30 I think you have to take him... Take the BPA and figure out CB later. Collins at 56 would also be a really good pick IMO and maybe the injury will make him available there.

Where he was going in the draft seemed to be all over the place to begin with.

IMO just some teams wanting players to fall to their picks spreading this information now

and yes...Harmon at 30 & Collins at 56 would be fantastic.  Really any combo of the top handful of DT's  with those picks is a big win to me

imagine getting Grant & Tyleik

Get 2 of

Nolen

Grant
Harmon

Tyleik

West

Lott

Collins

Alexander

Farmer

Bonus:  Add Caldwell in Round 4 or 5

We don't need to double up DT so quickly we need one NT whom to me is Tyleik Williams who would start next to Oliver. Then you have DaQuan, Carter and then after Week 7 sprinkle in Ogunjobi. I could see drafting another DT prospect in Rounds 4-7 but not sooner. As we still have concerns at CB and edge rusher which to me more important than double dipping at DT.

Give me Nolan and if we get a late late 3rd Deon Walker. Cut Jones and sign JT who can mentor Walker...since that's who his nfl comp is. Decide on Ogun later. Then we can go edge then Porter or either way.
