Bills Related Draft News & Discussion

Amos visit is today.

 

Anyone bored enough to go through the Beane era and comb through to see if there is any correlation between when a prospect visits (how close to the draft or further anway from the draft ) and if we draft them?

I know he gets bashed a lot on these boards because he has the size to play the run, but is just a situational pass rusher. But the guy has a knack for making big plays at key times.

I was on the Grant train, but have shifted over to Team Harmon. I do think Harmon will be gone in that 15-20 range. Dream draft for me, would be a small trade up for Harmon. Use a 4th and a 5th, and than trade back into the bottom of the 1st with our 2 2nds, to draft Amos, or another one of those top corners,  before the run begins.

I think they;ll both be gone so I'd be fine with Nolan...who Greg Cosell says is the top DT. Follow that up with Edge and Porter.  IDK, one thing I do know is that Beane will probably make me go WTF? never woulda guessed that.

Id be good with that as well. We desperately need to build a Championship caliber dline. As much as I like the low risk/high reward singing that Bosa was, we can't put all our eggs in the Bosa basket.

Of Harmon, Grant, and Nolan, the DT least likely to still be at #30 is Nolan. Expecting him to go top 20.

The way the last TSW mock went would be ok with me. We can probably still find a couple of good edges later. Maybe Ivey, Walker? Both would be great.

This is not news, but a question: Have we made any significant changes to our scouting in the last year? I know guys get poached, or guys are added, but anything to cause hope or concern? 

 

I generally like Beane and his moves, but I’ll pretend this horse is just laying down and resting and beat it one more time - we need to draft better, especially high. 

 

The Eagles have drafted a Pro Bowler from 2018 to 2013. If only we could have half those hits….

Thanks for posting that.  Time to start a poll asking which one of those guys will be our 1st pick.  I am thinking our 1st 3 picks will be from the 30 group.

Makes 23 out of 30 and the 7th DB all considered 1st or 2nd round talents. Not sure if Porter gets to 56 might be a trade down or trade up candidate

I think the only In doubt is WR, could be edge there. That’s really the only difference I could see. I could see them taking Ty Robinson in the 4th. He just fits Buffalo to a T as a 3 tech

My bet: DT, CB, DT, trade up to 3rd WR (4/4).
