Longhorns running back Jaydon Blue, who improved on his original 40-yard dash time he ran at the NFL Combine by a full tenth of a second, running a 4.25 at the Longhorns' Pro Day after posting a 4.38 at the Combine, which he evidently ran with a torn groin.

6’0  200lbs and can hit sub 4.3

that’s pretty exciting

more impressive than Worthy given the size difference

For sure, he isn't the best tackler in the run game. But the Bills need to defend the pass better. Grant doesn't help us there. Hariston does.

However, until we get a line that can do the job, we gonna have to load the box.  911 in no time.

I won’t be too surprised if they he Bills reach a bit for him in round 2 if all the top CBs are gone (like in our Mock 2.0).  I’m not saying that they should do that, but it seems like a possibility given their desperation for a corner.

They definitely should not do it.

I agree he will be a better pro. Same as Cook is.

Try to get a 2nd for Cook

then trade up into the 3rd for Blue

of course he could go sooner

I would bet he gets us a 2nd..2 in 26.   That;s why I'm all about taking the end of the first rd. pick next year and spend it now. At least 2 teams have 2 picks in the 2nd and 3rd. We could end up wIth a good core crop without the screwing around. Go shopping

I don't think there's any universe where the Bills are getting a 2nd for Cook in a year where the running back class is this excellent and deep.

I sincerely doubt they could even get a 3rd, but I'm almost CERTAIN they couldn't get a 2nd.

The other thing I'll say is...there has been much said this offseason about how the Bills probably won't draft a running back this year because they already have Cook, Johnson, and Davis, but...it sure SEEMS like they're doing a lot of work on day three running backs. At this point, I'll be rather surprised if they DON'T take one. I think the plan would be either a guy who can contribute enough on special teams/returns to warrant being game day active, or to be a gameday inactive for most of his rookie season with an eye toward 2026. But one way or another, it seems the Bills DO have an eye on taking advantage of this year's deep RB class.

So Cook for a 2026 2nd. Then use the 2026 1st to get an additional 2025 2nd and maybe more?

I say do it.

Why not?  We can move up from 62 and get a decent 3rd.  Even if they don't trade Cook, he'll at least be a 3rd rd. comp. It's not like we're gonna need ammo to move up next year for a QB. Relax, let the draft come to us and make smart picks. This is the year to play with a little house money and have a good, solid draft.

I have a concern with Amos and that is a lack of production. 4 INT’s over a 5 year collegiate career is not great for a guy who is supposed to be a round 1 guy.

That scares me

On the flip side , you have Morrison who has missed a bunch of time due to injuries has, but had 9 INT’s in 3 seasons .

I don't watch college ball. yes I know I shouldn't even be allowed an opinion in regard to the draft lo

But that scares me too. I am loathe to project upside.

This is an interesting contrast as to why these two are a good fit in Buffalo. I would prefer to measure Amos over pass break ups and percentage of pass attempts at him last two years , focused on last year.

Morrison and injury. Bills cannot afford that risk theoretically. I dont need a star , I need a starter at CB#2

There is a great fit for these requisites for Buffalo this draft.

Thats crazy !

Love it. I am fine using a next years pick this year But dang , Bills better be sure about nailing 3 picks of importance.

I am liking trading Cook if we get an early second for it. And draft his " next up "

Expecting some Beane magic this year

NOT like last years draft though 😋

Amos is tops in forced incompletion rate. That's production for a CB. He checked the boxes at the combine as well.
