Makes sense as a day 3 guy The scouting report on him looks terrific, even for a Day Two pick. If it's accurate, this is just the kind of player the Bills need for quality depth, in addition to a starter at the position. Git her done, Beane. 2 Quote

Can he play outside full time? If golden is there, take him. That’s about it Trade back 10 spots, try and obtain 3rd, and draft Jack Bech. Draft 3rd TE, and defense rest of draft. Quote

quincy Posted Wednesday at 12:47 PM Posted Wednesday at 12:47 PM When you go to the PFN draft simulator and see the CB profiles, I like Strong's the best. Seems potentially a bit undervalued considering that at least 3 of the top CB prospects have injury concerns of some kind, (Johnson, Revel and Morrison). Zy Alexander is also considered to be a better than average CB in terms of tackling, he is someone else that i find interesting especially if 2 cornerbacks are drafted by Buffalo in this upcoming draft. I be pretty stoked with that draft. It keeps Allen loaded with weapons and while it doesn't completely fix the defense it gets them pointed in the right direction. People going to have to realize that everything will not be able to get fixed with this draft Edited Wednesday at 02:07 PM by TheBeaneBandit 2 1 Quote

Logic Posted Wednesday at 03:53 PM Posted Wednesday at 03:53 PM I could be wrong, but it sure seems like the Bills are doing a lot of work on DTs that are more likely to be day 2 and 3 selections. If I had to guess right now, I'd bet on a round 1 corner, and two 2nd round defenders (DT and S or DT and Edge), with -- hopefully -- a speedy WR of some sort coming in round 4 or 5. 4 1 Quote

I still like Darien Porter in the 2nd. Other than Jahdae Barron...who I would trade up for, I'd hope they'd take Nolen at 30 cause he'll probably be the last of the best available and there's probably a good drop from there. 1 Quote

Yeah I certainly would rather spend our most premium pick on a defensive lineman than a corner, but Beane's draft history combined with the gaping hole at CB2 and the existing DL depth chart leads me to believe he's going corner first. I wish I could say he wasn't that predictable with his round one pick, but his drafting history in the early rounds would suggest otherwise. Quote
