This is an interesting choice for a top 30 visit. He's projected as a 7th rounder or even UDFA. He has some vertical traits but very much a developmental prospect.

The next Justin Shorter perhaps? Some guy no one else was really interested in that we were clearly going to pick 🤷‍♂️

From the players they are being reported as meeting with it seems it will be early round CBs, DEs, and DTs. Then day 3 WRs with speed, Safety, TE.

Still think WR should be a day 2 priority but I like the players they are being tied to.

Yeah there's been no reports that we've met with any day 1 or 2 WR prospects. Bond is the one exception, but also now I wonder if he is a day 2 prospect? That rumor about his major character concerns keeps popping up, and presumably every team would have the same info. Is it possible he'll plummet down the board and the reason we're meeting with him a lot is because we think he'll still be around in round 4 or even 5?

Small frame, small hands, poor stats, poor metrics, ran slower than he was supposed to and character concerns. If I had to put a bet on it I’d bet he is available day 3.

He could be a good late 4th or early 5th round pick.

I'm all defense all draft. Other than the playoff game against the Bengals a few years ago where all 3 phases didn't show up, defense has consistently been the problem late in the season and in the playoffs and offense has not. We have multiple glaring holes on defense. I'd be fine with a WR round 4 or later if it seems like they'd play, but we really need to add value on defense for team success.

Of course, none of it matters because the league is rigged (the KC-Houston game last playoffs added to all the other questionable games convinced me)

The main trait I look for when studying corners is do they get their head turned around when the ball is in the air? Elam was terrible at that in college and it continued into the NFL.

Revel has shown a bit of that as well so I’m mildly concerned here with him

This is about the last thing you should be looking for since they are coached to play those routes exactly like Revel is doing.

Dawson Knox did a pretty good job on that.

I don't recall that Knox had a huge reputation for drops.  What I recall is that he converted from a high school QB and was very much underutilized because Mississippi had a couple of big name receivers who got all the targets.

Watch all the best corners in the league.

They get their head around and see the ball coming and make a play on it.

Guys that can’t track the ball constantly get beat or called for DPI

Is Alfred Collin’s a first round talent and would the Bills consider him at 30 if he’s there?

I know he’s already 24, but he is a physically imposing player who moves well for his size.

I saw a 7 round mock today (Draft Countdown, I believe) in which Buffalo picked Collins in Round 4.

Lambert-Smith is average height for a WR (6'1") with 4.37 speed.  He's rated a 6th round pick because he has some significant limitations in his game that need to be fixed.  Plenty of talent if the Bills could fix his issues.

It's dependent on the route and in that video reel, he played every single ball exactly like he was supposed to.

He did, actually. People on this forum hammered him for it. He also entered the NFL having never caught a TD in his college career. Then, in his first two offseasons, he worked tirelessly to fix the issue, including hiring a vision specialist to improve his eye-hand coordination.

@GunnerBill @NewEra

I know you guys are of the opinion that Hunter is a better corner but I’ll continue to say that he’s a better the better WR.

And it’s a fun debate to have .
