Warriorspikes51 Posted Friday at 11:36 PM Posted Friday at 11:36 PM (edited) Coming away with Farmer in the 4th Round if he makes it there after scooping up Grant or Collins would be pretty cool Farmer measured in at the combine with 35" arms, which puts him in the 97th percentile among all time Combine participants. SoonerBillsFan Posted Friday at 11:56 PM Posted Friday at 11:56 PM Unless we trade up, we aren't getting one of the two concensus top DT's. I don't see a ton of difference between the top guy and the 5th guy. We can grab a stud in the 1st at DT. Unless they want a DE or CB. If so, we need to trade up in the 2nd to grab a DT. I would rather create pressure from inside out. 2 Quote
LEBills Posted Saturday at 12:11 AM Posted Saturday at 12:11 AM Beane was at South Carolinas pro day. TJ Sanders, Kyle Kennard, Tonka Hemingway, Deandre Jules are all likely to be drafted from their DLine. Not to mention Demetrius Knight, Nick Emmanwori, and O’Donnell Fortune. (Dang writing those names out is like writing the transcript of that Key and Peele sketch). Bills took Landon Jackson out to dinner the night before his pro day. Bills met with Billy Bowman the night before his pro day And they met extensively with QB Taylor Elgersma at the UB pro day These are all per Tony Pauline: https://www.sportskeeda.com/author/tony-pauline-dda89 3 1 8 1 Quote

gjv Posted Saturday at 11:15 AM Posted Saturday at 11:15 AM This years RB's draft class appears to loaded with high level performers. I would be happy to see the Bills draft RJ Harvey out of the Univ of Central Florida in a latter round. 2 Quote
Stretch Posted Saturday at 11:49 AM Posted Saturday at 11:49 AM Biggers sounds like the type of DT this board could get behind at least. 1 1 Quote

One thing I've noticed about Beane is if a draft is deep at a position, he's more likely to wait until later (3rd, 4th) to pull the trigger on that position. Probably the thought is take from the thinner position groups while they are still available and hope you can grab a 2nd round talent in round 4. I get it in philosophy, but hate the passive attitude. I'm hopeful that this is the year they identify a player and then go get him. A guy like Grant. My biggest fear is we see Beane trade back and out of round 1 altogether this year. 2 2 Quote

He won’t and Farmer, like Landon Jackson has said the Bills have met with him a ton, talks to him everyday. Farmer says he loves talking to the Bills and that he’s taking a 30 visit to Buffalo if I read correctly. I don’t love it as an FSU fan because he never lived up to expectations but he could be a monster if he has the right mindset and lands in a good situation 1 Quote

Some of the YouTube scouts think that some of his struggles in the run game and with inconsistency was with how he was coached at FSU. You certainly would be more familiar with that aspect of it, I know FSU was in tough shape this year. Quote
H2o Posted Saturday at 12:31 PM Posted Saturday at 12:31 PM From the visits thus far, I believe it's safe to say we will be going DT, CB, WR, or S with our first three selections. 4 Quote

You certainly would be more familiar with that aspect of it, I know FSU was in tough shape this year. The defensive line in general was supposed to be their strength this past year. They had Farmer, Darrell Jackson, and former 5 star Patrick Payton and they all were less than advertised. It’s not all their fault but they couldn’t get after the QB they had trouble stopping the run and very rarely make splash tapes. If you watch the highlight tape someone posted 90% of Farmers highlights are from the Cal game and the Duke game. That’s a red flag to even the most casual draft person. FSU LB corps wasn’t good to be very fair to them and that unit got picked on a ton both in the run and pass game all year which could be part of why they didn’t have success up front but only Farmer out of those 3 decided to come out. Payton is now at LSU and Jackson withdrew from the draft and is back at FSU. Adam Fuller got fired because of their record and his conservative defenses and rightfully so after 2-10 but again it was the same defense that Verse and Fiske thrived in. The Bills don’t need a robin at DT they need a Batman 3 1 Quote

biggerdaddynj Posted Saturday at 04:56 PM Posted Saturday at 04:56 PM Any word on Revel? Kept hearing he’d have been a top 15 pick but for the injury. At combine heard a report that his surgeon said he’s on track to be ready for training camp. Assuming his medical is ok, this would be a great opportunity to get an impact player at a discount. He’s got great length (6’2” and 32 5/8” arms) and talent. Would love to hear from any of our resident scouts. 3 Quote
