DT Leki Fotu visiting the Bills

I don't have any information on which to evaluate him as a player, so I'll take Gunner's word for it that he's terrible.  It is interesting, however that he has good measurables, or did coming out of college.  Besides being big, he has long arms, big hands and ran a 5.15.  His production has been underwhelming to say the least.  So, would there be anything a great defensive line coach could get out of him or is he stuck in mediocrity.

Former 4th round pick from the Cards started 21 games in 4 seasons as an NT, signed with the Jets in 2024 and he got hurt. Seems like a cheap kick the tires camp body. Only 27 years old too and a big bodied NT.

Looking him up, definitely seems to have the slightly chunkier Spencer Brown body type. 
 

I know his production was low, but he's been a 3-4 NT his whole career so far (I think).

I don't think he is the tub of goo we (the fans) are really looking for, but he adds depth and I am ok with it if he I really cheap. He is pretty big but he is also pretty tall and long, he isn't the fire hydrant NT type. He's more epoor man's Raekwon Davis, the long nose tackle. 

 

 

Not the best breakdown, but there is a lot of him playing three tech in here, and some zero.

I think the fans need to get off this tun of goo quest. Bills have never really had that kind of DT under McD.

Correct me if wrong, but run stuffing big body DTs who don't yield stats don't grade well on PFF anyways.

He spent his entire rookie 4-year contract in Arizona.

Went to the Jets and got injured.

Now he is a FA.  I don't think it's that bad.

There has to be some meat added to the DL this offseason, the shift in the league is back towards running, can’t have Safties playing LB and not have somebody to eat blockers for them.  The weakness of this D is where the league has decided to attack, so it’s time to really make a move against it.
