Political Violence. Where do you stand?

19 members have voted

  1. 1. Were those who engaged in violence at the US Capitol on J6 wrong?

  2. 2. Are those who are engaging in ongoing violence against Tesla dealerships, charging stations and vehicles wrong?

  3. 3. Were those who participated in the nationwide violence during the summer of 2020 wrong?

I told you, because as usual they were completely focused on gun control and how people could get a gun and nothing else but that mattered .

And it was the same bunch of nut jobs that were involved in the video of the "Transurrection" here that got thrown off the floor of the site building for a minute

Oh and here's another piece, a good share of the money brought forth specifically for school safety was going to go to this particular politicians district that they represented but they didn't agree & thought It would be better spent on their personal opinionated areas of concern instead .

Go Figure ...

Polishing the surface doesn’t solve the underlying problem.

I do not support any violence in protesting. Once violence is used events are then actually war.

However there is one particular form that I find acceptable if any far left protestors or far right protestors feel the need. That would be pouring gasoline on themselves, lighting a match. There are certain advantages, 1, it shines a light on the issue, 2 it shows commitment, 3 we only have to listen to it once.

I'm not policing nothing I'm telling you the facts when anyone from either side of the isle can't see something that will directly help a situation and votes differently just because is ignorant plain and simple .

Yet, you live in one of the most gun-friendly states and that was BEFORE the Covenant School shooting

2013 - Guns in trunks OK

2014 - State spent more than $10 million to woo Beretta, and the city of Gallatin threw in a $2 million property tax break and 100 acres for free

2015 - Republican lawmakers to call for Christians to arm themselves

2016 - Guns on campus stored in trunks OK

2019 - Report: Tennessee Gun Deaths Are On the Rise

2020 - Democrats propose red flag law but effort dies because of lack of Republican support.

2020 - GS Performance, a Glock handgun accessory and parts manufacturer, lured to Tennessee

2021 - No permit no problem

2022 - Tennessee parents support gun regulations

2023 - Tragedy strikes

2023 - After school shooting, Tenn. gun laws likely to remain lax

2024 - Arming School Personnel

2024 - A year after deadly Nashville shooting, Tennessee lawmakers pass bill to allow armed teachers - Washington Times

How Tennessee became one of the most gun-friendly states before the Covenant School shooting

You can point fingers at Democrats all you want, but the facts remain - Democrats have been advocating for gun reform for years, consistently blocked by Republicans aligned with the gun lobby.

And yet with all the gun freedoms here the states with the highest amount of gun deaths are DC 1st, Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, & New Mexico .

I have absolutely no problem with arming certain teachers in schools that have had past experience in the use of fire arms like those in the military that is called common sense ! Those people that were called to defend the country but can't defend children from crazy's yah that makes sense .

And that in it self could save many ...

Setting fire to Teslas in an unoccupied commercial space: bad

Setting fire to Governor’s official residence while occupied by Gov and his family on Passover: really, really bad.

Was that difficult? Moral distinctions do exist.

Bad - stay silent or possibly mock publicly

Really, really bad - publish a tweet

Not difficult at all!

You’ve been oddly silent about Trump ignoring the 9-0 SCOTUS ruling to bring back Garcia. Why is that?

Seems a bit authoritarian and I’m sure you don’t share those beliefs, don’t you?

I don’t like when government f’s up regardless of who is in charge. It’s hard to keep up with your level of outrage though. One day it’s flag code, the next it’s torture at Logan Airport, the next it’s calling everyone a racist. I will try to bunch my undies up more regularly but you will need to be patient.

Bit beyond a fk-up at this point, it’s ignoring the Supreme Court and giving themselves a clear method of deporting anyone they don’t like. You might want to start caring about that.
