Martin St. Louis - Tampa Bay Lightning.

I live in Tampa and have been to many Lightning games. Mostly when Sabres are in town. Not so much lately.

After warmups, and after most of the players have exited to their locker rooms, he would sprint to the home net, stop and sprint back to the bench area. Weird. Saw him do it twice.

Leroy Burrell. When he tested positive for excessive testosterone his excuse was he'd been making love to his wife for a long time before the test. His words were "What can I say? It was her birthday and the lady deserved a treat".

I wish Rafa Nadal could keep his shorts out of his crack. He did a LOT of fidgeting! Love Rafa, but that was an annoying routine!

I think he was worse than Sergio Garcia gripping, then re-griping, then re-griping his club. I think it was Tiger who said “Oh, you just can’t watch. You have to turn away until you hear the ball being struck.” You couldn’t let him pollute the area between your ears.

Joachim Löw, ex-manager of the German national soccer team, used to scratch himself in his pants and then sniff his fingers. He also picked his nose, all on TV during matches. On the other hand, he won the 2014 World Cup. If this is the price you have to pay...

Dan Uggla, massive arms, could either hit a homer or strikeout, mostly struck out, braves wasted a bunch of money on him

Same deal…. Steve Balboni.

Kenny Lofton.  Early in his career he did a couple seasons in the NY-Penn league with my hometown Auburn Astros.  I was 8 or 9 and the ballpark was only a few blocks from my house, so I used to go watch practice almost every single day.  I guess a lot of the players and coaches just got used to me being there.

Anyway, Kenny would call me out onto the field and let me try to catch fly balls with him during BP.  He also would send me to the Wilson Farms store to get him snacks and soda, and would always give me enough money to buy myself something.  Super nice guy, and back then literally no one knew anything about him.

Mets Middle reliever Turk Wendell (90s) would always hop over the foul line, careful to not touch it. (I think he used to also brush his teeth between innings too, and had about 100 other superstitions).

Jose Oquendo from the Cards (80s) played at every position.

Pete Reiser. Stealing home, running into center field fence.

"There will never be a ballplayer as good as Willie Mays, but (Pete) Reiser was every bit as good, and he might have been better. Pete Reiser might have been the best ballplayer I ever saw. He had more power than Willie. He could throw as good as Willie. Mays was fast, but Reiser was faster. Name whoever you want to, and Pete Reiser was faster. Willie Mays had everything. Pete Reiser had everything but luck." Leo Durocher
