somnus00 Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Outside of the top two guys, I really like Norman-Lott out of Tennessee. Quote

Every Draft board is unique to that team. You select the BPA according to the Bills Draft Board. We are not going to have QB Ward rated than Golden Quote

It sounds like something Tom Donahoe would do. 1 Quote

But the overall consensus is that bpa will be on the dline or possibly a cb/s.... That's where the talent is Maybe if the linebacker/ pass rusher from Alabama falls a bit that's another bpa I would take. Campbell from Alabama is pretty awesome But everything I'm reading is he is skyrocketing. So is the safety from Georgia starks Edited 11 hours ago by Kelly to Allen Quote

For fans best player available means one thing For someone in The scouting industry it's completely different As you said there's a whole bunch of things when you're talking best player available.. we have Josh Allen.. if the best player available is a quarterback in the first or second round we're not taking him We run a nickel four down base set.. if the best player available is a 34 outside linebacker pass rusher probably not going to take him Every GM wants to take the best player available for their scheme fit.. scheme trumps everything at the NFL level You're not taking a 300lb 5 tech when we don't use that even if he's the best player available... We're looking for the best 6-7 technique Best player available is subjective because a 34 and a 4-3 team are not looking for the same types of players 2 Quote

Tyleik. Meh. He is a very good run stuffer but he offers very little backfield penetration potential. If he gets to a round 2 pick I'd consider? Williams had 11.5 sacks in 4 seasons and 28 Tackles for loss in 51 games. Compare that to Derrick Brown one of NFL best run defenders had 13 sacks and 35 tackles for loss in 53 college games. Quote

People who just blindly say BPA think they sound very smart but in reality when you have a team that is of high quality and has areas where needs aren't pressing then you have to take the best player within a position of need. The Bills have a range of needs as you mentioned there should be a corner, defensive linemen, or receiver at or close to the top of their board. 1 Quote
BlueRed Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago I’m really curious what round Jordan Philips (Maryland) goes in - but would be interested in the bills betting on his upside early day 3. 1 1 Quote
