Guys that couldn't rush the passer to save their life, but who were so enormous that you simply couldn't run on them, and they occupied two blockers and thus allowed the edge rushers 1-on-1 opportunities. I know that the changing style of NFL play and trends in both offensive and defensive scheme and personnel have largely rendered them extinct, and that they probably don't make as much sense in today's game, and blah blah blah... ...but still. I miss them. Gimme a big ol' 335 lb NT all day long. I'm here for it. Now all the 335 lb guys are in the stands. 😊 As we’ve seen a resurgence with RB’s, I wonder if that leads to a resurgence of the fat guy? 1 1 Quote

You don't always find that combo which makes guys like him so difficult to replace. Bring on Tyleik Williams I say. 1 Quote

I would not expect a 3rd round WR to come in and immediately contribute given the current state of our roster. I feel the impact of a rookie class needs to be immediate given where we are. You can frame it based off need AND based off of who is currently in the WR room (this year and next). All this considered, I think it’s best to punt on any early selections and try and continue to evolve what we currently have while adding a back-end WR who can contribute down the road or immediately on ST. You are speaking specifically of WR here I suspect ? If so. Grab speed if waiting till 5th or so. Super fast. Immediate speed. That is one skill set Bills do not have , or use to an advantage/ John Brown speed. My percieved priorities are nearly all defense and early High Quality picks. They will be there. I am so sincere that I would be willing to trade a high pick from next year etc etc to gain two defensive starters or can play immediately in the rotation. and I want them to be defense. and we all know by now my mindset as to what positions 😍 Thanks to so many of you I am starting to have some leanings and more focus Grant stands out as fit need and maybe BPA. And Beane will have to go up and get him. That boy could be a game changer for Bills D coaches. But plenty of other fine choices to Play front four and start/rotate in 1-2 down and some third. Now saying that ..... they will draft a WR after moving out of the 1st lol 1 Quote

Although I agree with most that the defense needs a huge overhaul, it would be nice to sneak a wide receiver in there somewhere. The thing is though to make that happen we would have overreach considerably most likely. Dang about Collins , that's just a judge bridge too far regardless of talent. Wr yes exactly I nearly expect some over reach. I hope they are strong willed and can find some suitors as needed. D line NEEDS fat kid++ and another much later. Jones might be shot. AJEs long term replacement ( sorry bud ) Starting Corner for 4 or more years. Alot to ask and then the lesser needs are a good few still on defense. agreed also on above that Boundary receiver 1A or 1B are what is missing on offense. Hoping Kincaid and Coleman step up and Coaching gets them there Quote

BFF ? You get those two guys and Oliver, Even Espenesa sp will look good. seriously. Bosa and Groot would feast . No O line is set up to manage that these days Those Big Fellas put their hands up to block nearly all the short passing lanes after two seconds. LBs stay clean generally. Change the NFL. Full circle Thanks Augie Bring it back 😋 1 Quote
