I think it would be good if we put together threads by position that have our thoughts, highlight videos, potential late round guys, and projections of - in this one - the DTs we like for the Bills rather than just in one collective draft thread.

Will make the job of top of the line internet scouts we are (Beane listen to us!) easier and can keep the discussion to the position.

So here are 2 to start from me:

TJ is a really good player. But not a fit for Buffalo because he is an alternative to Ed Oliver not a compliment.

Tyleik. Meh. He is a very good run stuffer but he offers very little backfield penetration potential. If he gets to a round 2 pick I'd consider?

This might be relative to draft position , your takes.

But please give me a two runs stuffers from this draft

I dont need stars , just effective enough and an upside would be swell also

I love Alfred Collins.  I know he's not known as a pass rusher and for that reason it's probably not happening, but if it was up to me Amos in the first and in the second I'd take Collins.  As a floor he's going to dominate vs the run and with power and bull rush alone collapse the pocket.  If we wait til later probably Jordan Phillips has as much upside and traits that we typically draft for. Oh and it says he has a wrestling background which is a McDermott special.

Grant in Round #1

I like Tim Smith, Alabama,  as a 3T later in draft. I like Nazir Stackhouse, Georgia, as a 1T later in draft.

A pick after round 2 I like is Darius Alexander out of Toledo.

I like Derrick Harmon if Grant is gone and he is on the board at #30. He plays like a 3T but is about 315 lbs.

If I could have Grant in Round 1, a true 330lb 1T/NT and then one of Smith, 3T or Stackhouse, 1T in 4th/5th, this would be great!

Bottom line is we need a 1T to slow the running game and allow the 3T to help create more up-the-middle pressure.

As has been said ad naseum on this board, get some mean, big, and tough space eaters if we are going to have light linebackers.

The formula is simple. Eagles won the line. Eagles won the Chip. Copy the formula.

I don't want Deone Walker. He's plays way too high and is a poor man's Jordan Phillips at best. I wouldn't take him unless it was maybe with one of our fifth round comp pics if even that.

Poor man's Calais? I hope he slides to us later. Teach him to bend, squat and tell him his mama's fat, then send him out there. I hope we get him.

All DTs All the Time. 😋 This year 😇

It’s Derrick Harmon for me with Collins as my second choice. He looks like a Cam Heyward clone. If he’s there and we pass on him I’ll be heart broken.

I hope this draft is deep enough at DT that we can draft a 1t and 3t that can make a meanful contribution to the defense this coming season. Beane is overdue in drafting a difference maker in round 1.

Because I watched this guy toss SEC guards, the closest thing to NFL guards, around like rag dolls more often than not.

I second the Alfred Collins take, he is great.

Some day 3 guys who could fill in at 1Tech:

You basically get no pass rush from him, but Maryland’s Jordan Phillips is one of the youngest players in the draft, was awesome at the Shrine Bowl and is a strong MFer.

CJ West is another great run defender but won’t get much out of him in the pass rush.
