T master Posted March 15 Posted March 15 (edited) I'm not sure why he hasn't been here already given his play over the years, he is one player I have wanted Beane to bring in for the last say 4 years or so he's a great player & always disrupting where ever he has been . I do believe though in typical Beane fashion he will wait till it's closer to the end of the season to bring in a veteran type & I'm thinking with what Jordan Phillips gave last season in th e play offs & that he said he would only play for the Bills that it will be Jordan . He will stay in good shape this season to be healthy when the Bills need him most and can be at his best physically . He knows the D already and when healthy can be a force in the middle as we saw in the play off games . He's been one of the players I have always rooted for . Campbell would be good but doesn't know the Defense although he could probably get it Phillips would be able to come in and hit the ground running with no need to learn tendencies of the scheme . Phillips seems to flash once a game, but the rest of it gets gashed in the run game and takes a dumb penalty. IMO anyway 1 Quote
Magox Posted March 16 Posted March 16 He still can play at pretty high level. On a side note, I saw a video of him this past season talking to his defensive teammates in a Mic’d up situation on the sideline and he is an absolute leader. Just the energy and what he was saying I just remember coming away very impressed with what and how he was saying it. Would love to have him on the team and now with 2 of our defensive players being sidelined for the first few weeks it should be a consideration 2 Quote
NewEra Posted March 16 Posted March 16 I’ve wanted him every year he’s been available. Great locker room presence that just so happens to be a wall of force. Not the pass rusher he once was- but he’s still a guy that can make an impact bs the run and pass. 1 1 Quote
Mr. WEO Posted March 16 Posted March 16 he just tested positive for Geritol, so.....Beane is reaching for that 1 year contract. 1 Quote
We Billieve #1 Posted March 16 Posted March 16 Too many risks involved with him... (injury because of age, money that can be used for a more stable asset, etc...) I'd rather draft a dude! Quote

Overall I think it's pretty solid. Ryan Talbot doesn't do much for me as I think he's just "ok". But Matt Parrino is really good IMO Quote
JakeFrommStateFarm Posted March 16 Posted March 16 I actually think he's a much better option than the oft injured Bosa. The past two seasons campbell has played every game Quote

I'd rather draft a dude! This is just misinformation. Go look at his career. He has missed a handful of games over 17 years!!! His age is an exception. His pressure metrics were elite last year and the guy’s motor never quits whoever gets him is going to be a happy team 1 1 Quote
