SoonerBillsFan Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago WTH didn't the damn league let teams know BEFORE they signed with anyone. This should, if the Bills wanted, a reason to void the contracts. Quote

BillsFan130 Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago The Hoecht one is even more bizarre to me . Its like ok, you know he has a suspension coming. Who the hell is even coming close to paying him the contract he got? What a joke 1 1 Quote

Not only the suspension, but also like ok....do you suck, if not for PEDs? LOL not at you as much as all fans. these guys are all juiced to the gills. some guys can afford the 1 step ahead no test existing type stuff, other guys are stuck taking stuff thats been around long enough theyve developed a test for recently. very likely couldve been something that was new when they started it, had a longer half-life on, labs got their hands on that substance, developed a new test for it, and cant clear it from their system in time because of a long detection time. Either way, shocking as it is.... these 275-350lb 6ft 5" men that run 4.5s 40's, and squat 650lbs are on drugs LOL in other news: 100lb 5'2" women with DD+ have fake cans and body counts that rival the Red Army in WW2 🤯 Lets hope that new contracts gets them linked up with some top chemists 1 Quote

julian Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago The Bills will be 5-1 when they return, young rookie Dlinemen will have early season opportunities to get their feet wet… seems like a situation that has some advantages, not even worth worrying about. January and February is where we need all bodies on board. 1 1 1 1 Quote
Logic Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Certainly some laughable overreactions in this thread. How was Brandon Beane supposed to know that Larry Ogunjobi -- with a spotless NFL resume and being the Steelers' 2024 Walter Payton Man of the Year nominee -- was going to get a PED suspension BEFORE it happened? I guess you can ding him for still deciding to go ahead with the contract after finding out, but his explanation that the market had become pretty depleted and they decided they'd rather have him for 11 games plus playoffs than start from scratch and sign a lesser talent seems reasonable to me. Likewise, if you want to ding him for deciding to sign Hoecht to a three-year deal despite knowing about his six game suspension, I can understand that. But the Bills signed him for 51 games worth of contract. With that in mind, missing six games due to suspension doesn't seem disqualifying. All of this is obviously less than ideal. But the "this is the last straw, fire Brandon Beane" stuff is hilarious to me. 4 1 5 1 1 2 Quote

BananaB Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago I wonder what type of players theses guys will be without the PEDs? Hahaha Quote
HansLanda Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago What is perhaps more interesting is the NFL PED policy language. You get an automatic 4-game for a failed test; an automatic 6-game for "attempting to manipulate a test." Me thinks many guys are doing PEDs and somehow are masking - these two got caught. 1 1 1 Quote
quincy Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago If this news had happened to the Browns, we would be laughing hard at them. A real shame it happened to us. Hoecht i would have avoided in FA, since it was known whilst negotiating. Quote

Total D- now. Kinda makes sense in Beanes FA approach, Hoecht's suspension was priced in to the contract already. Might've felt the suspension put him into a price range we couldn't have afforded without the suspension. He doesn't mind taking in a guy like Bosa at a 1year bargain price $12m, roll the dice a bit, maybe we get 1 healthy year out of it... next year we cant afford him, and get a fat comp pick. Like buying a Lambo with a dent in the door. Bet hes pretty PO'd with Oogabuji though! I could see verbiage being built into a contract where if a player knows about a suspension and doesnt disclose it, they have an out. 1 Quote
