Out of pocket almost all day, just saw this.  All I gotta say is "that's just f****** great".

And if you don’t like it, get out of town (not Polian)

With all due respect Yolo, I know you’re a TBD legend and for good reason, but this is embarrassing for us.

The only thing we can do is focus on the long play. If these guys come back week 7 and ball out, that’s probably best case scenario for us..

The Bills still eat the cap impact even though the players do not get paid.

Wait, this is for sure legit the case?!

I got $17 to donate to the league fine charity if that means the bills can keep some cap space.

Would that be a problem now that they are, say, off the roids, will they still be effective? Many have accused Shawn Merriman for his performance fell off the cliff after he was suspended from using PED, presumably not using them any more.

I don’t see this team as better than last years even with a bunch of added cap space.  Not sure what the philosophy is here by Beane, but he’s added a bunch of unproven or oft injured players to a team that’s been inches away from making a SB appearance.

That's a good question. Players on PEDs are certainly more injury-prone as well.

I haven’t read through every page so I apologize if it’s already been brought up. But suspended players don’t get game checks, correct?

Any cap wizards care to break down how mush these guys are leaving on the table for being out 6 weeks?

Pretty much everybody other than Josh is rotational.  Are you OK with paying 2 new FA"'s nearly $8M each for playing only 65% of the regular season?  I would rather put that combined $16M toward a pass rusher who's not getting pegged for enhancements.  If they were not expected to start, them why would BB use so much cap on them?  And on top of this the NFL should ethically have some obligation to disclose PED offenders BEFORE FA starts.

I guess but we're talking about ~15M of 2025 cap space used on these guys. Presumably they were supposed to play.

Seeding has proven to be a big deal for us notwithstanding the 2024 semis debacle. Being light up front could be the difference between a couple of wins to start the year depending on how the schedule is laid out.

Every loss matters.

Like I said, the team will be fine without these two for 6 weeks. People are acting like these were big time acquisitions.

I have no idea how deep that rabbit hole goes down. They may have been using peptides which accelerates the healing process within the body, but it’s not the same as taking testosterone or something of that nature. They could just be banged up and they’re trying to heal quicker.

Can this be appealed / reduced?

To me it sounds like Beane is accepting the 6 weeks for both players - roughly at 13 minutes in.

PEDs don't automatically mean steroids

PEDs are called PEDs because that's what they do.  Doesn't have to be just steroids. Could be HGH, blood doping, or something else and they're banned for a reason.

It's unconscionable for Beane to give Hoecht that contract knowing about his 6-game suspension.  Ogunjobi is at least guilty of bad faith.  The Bills should get back every penny of his contract.  *****in' ridiculous.
