With all due respect Yolo, I know you’re a TBD legend and for good reason, but this is embarrassing for us. The only thing we can do is focus on the long play. If these guys come back week 7 and ball out, that’s probably best case scenario for us.. 1 1 Quote

TheWeatherMan Posted March 14 Posted March 14 I don’t see this team as better than last years even with a bunch of added cap space. Not sure what the philosophy is here by Beane, but he’s added a bunch of unproven or oft injured players to a team that’s been inches away from making a SB appearance. 1 Quote

BlueRed Posted March 14 Posted March 14 I haven’t read through every page so I apologize if it’s already been brought up. But suspended players don’t get game checks, correct? Any cap wizards care to break down how mush these guys are leaving on the table for being out 6 weeks? Quote

Are you OK with paying 2 new FA"'s nearly $8M each for playing only 65% of the regular season? I would rather put that combined $16M toward a pass rusher who's not getting pegged for enhancements. If they were not expected to start, them why would BB use so much cap on them? And on top of this the NFL should ethically have some obligation to disclose PED offenders BEFORE FA starts. 3 Quote

I guess but we're talking about ~15M of 2025 cap space used on these guys. Presumably they were supposed to play. Seeding has proven to be a big deal for us notwithstanding the 2024 semis debacle. Being light up front could be the difference between a couple of wins to start the year depending on how the schedule is laid out. 1 Quote

They may have been using peptides which accelerates the healing process within the body, but it’s not the same as taking testosterone or something of that nature. They could just be banged up and they’re trying to heal quicker. Quote

Freddie's Dead Posted March 14 Posted March 14 (edited) It's unconscionable for Beane to give Hoecht that contract knowing about his 6-game suspension. Ogunjobi is at least guilty of bad faith. The Bills should get back every penny of his contract. *****in' ridiculous. Edited March 14 by Freddie's Dead 1 4 Quote
boyst Posted March 14 Posted March 14 That's why these guys were let go. No other gms let Beane know. That's amazing. 1 Quote
