Perfect #3 CB. Love it.

CB in rounds 1 or 2 is still a given IMO.

Yup, worked out so well last time we did it. Actually the time before that wasn't so bad so you're probably right.

This is why I'm drafting multiple corners and a slot cb too.

Taron is getting up there and needs to be pushed with competition.

He needs to come in for injured starters

Taron Johnson.  Not Jackson.  Bills have 2 of the 3 starters.  Need 1 more.

Johnson isn't starter material any more.  they need another legit starting CB opposite Benford.

How do you figure Dane has been average? His grades last year were some of the worst in football, and he got benched on one of the worst defences in the nfl, and then cut. In every imaginable way, he was a disaster last year.

Elam and bishop were 1st and 2nd rounders drafted by Beane. And you're saying as a Super Bowl calibre team in josh Allen's prime, that you go all In on a rookie corner who's never played a down of nfl football in his life?

And if it fails, you have Dane Jackson who was benched by maybe the worst defence in the nfl, to take the starting role?

This might be it's own answer

Bad fit on a bad team

He is a better fit here and has a head start. I bet he improves from that season significantly and is a solid 3rd. Boy likes to play against the run and hits

30: R1 P30 EDGE Mike Green - Marshall

56: R2 P24 EDGE Princely Umanmielen - Ole Miss

62: R2 P30 DL Joshua Farmer - Florida State

109: R4 P7 CB Zy Alexander - LSU

132: R4 P30 DL Aeneas Peebles - Virginia Tech

169: R5 P31 CB Mello Dotson - Kansas

173: R5 P35 WR Kobe Hudson - UCF

177: R6 P1 CB Zah Frazier - UTSA

204: R6 P28 RB Jordan James - Oregon

206: R6 P30 EDGE Tyler Batty - BYU

In this mock, Epenesa is possibly released or traded.

If Farmer/ Peebles and Carter/ Logue ascend, Maybe Daquan is released or traded

Dane Jackson and Ingram / C. Lewis go to the practice squad

And I still drafted a wr and rb

Opening day defensive depth potential

Bosa/ Green*/ Solomon

Oliver/ Peebles*/ Batty*

Farmer*/ Carter

Rousseau/ Princely*/ Batty*

Bernard/ Williams

Milano

Benford/ Dotson*

Alexander*/ Frazier*

T. Johnson/ Hardy

Bishop / Hamlin

Rapp/ Forrest

That's Bold Cotton

Like that draft in positional concept as long as your DTs are what profile I might prefer to add post FA.

But the bolded stood  (expand please to view ) out to me. That is 3 rookies potentially , on the field game Day 0ne.

Hope Micah Hyde gets a  advising Coach gig for the secondary to shorten the learning curve.

 Good post and thanks K2A

I hope not. We don't know how to utilize early round picks on D and will probably find someone that can be coached up in the later rounds anyway

Dane can probably start by the end of Camp and preseason. And yes I am all for coaching up wherever they draft the next starting CB
