Feel like he hasn't gotten a great shot at wr. Hard nosed, hard running guy who at worst is just a returner but can also contribute on offense as a gadget guy. With a real qb maybe can develop more. I liked the comparison to Cordarelle Patterson by someone earlier. It’s possible he come become that on a team that has a great foundation 1 Quote
Doc Brown Posted March 14 Posted March 14 The WR Beane would’ve drafted at pick 22 if we never traded for Diggs. 1 1 1 Quote

To me, he's kind of like this year's Chase Claypool without the history of public toxic behavior. He was one of Seattle's primary KR last season and they cut him in early December - I think it was after he muffed one kickoff but recovered on the 12 yard line, then fumbled on another resulting in a turnover against the Jets. 1 Quote
transient Posted March 14 Posted March 14 (edited) Wonder how much they paid? I had one in my teens. I wasn’t a fan. It was cramped and the interior smelled like smoke. It ran ok, I guess. It wasn’t very stylish, but then again none of those French cars are. I wouldn’t buy one again. Edited March 14 by transient Quote

I remember him being touted as a Deebo Samuel type because of his body and strength. Ran a 4.58 at the combine. Can he outrun Coleman to the cafeteria? 1 Quote

Vikings pry take Jefferson if a team above us drafting traded for Diggs. Playing the "what if" game is pointless despite me doing it with that comment. Lol. Quote

Not sure if that's a good comparison. Chase Claypool started his career with Roethlisberger in the final years of his prime putting up two 800 yard plus seasons. There was some hope that Josh Allen would bring him back to that level. Didn't work out. Shenault with the drops and the injuries had his role significantly reduced in year 2 with the Jaguars to the point they traded him for peanuts to the Panthers. I think he's here as a kick return specialist only but I expect Codrington to beat him out. Quote

He hasn't lived up to my hopes. But he ought to be a good gimmick guy occasionally and maybe a returner as well. 1 Quote
Back2Buff Posted March 14 Posted March 14 My question is, can he be a gunner defending kicks? That is what we need in the Hollins replacement, not someone to return kicks. This is Hamler's competition for the PS spot. 1 Quote
Florida Bills Fanatic Posted March 14 Posted March 14 He was a pretty good player in college. His career is a good example of what happens to a good player that gets drafted into a bad situation with the wrong coaching staff. He is a very similar player to Samuel and I think he only makes the team as a returner. I also remember people talking about him potentially becoming a third down back when he came to the league. I was surprised by this signing, so I'm hoping that Beane was doing more than just throwing crap at the wall to get something to stick. Hopefully, they have a plan. Quote

Bigvinny Posted March 14 Posted March 14 They have to sign like 30 guys to get to 90 for the off-season, doesn't mean they all will make the team, we go through this every year people. Quote
