Let's Go Buffalo Posted March 13 Posted March 13 This reminds me of my Sophomore year of high school football. Right after certain hits that year, I would feel what felt like a severe jolt or shock on my left side of my neck shoulder an arm, and I'd have to run off the field for a play or two......and my coach said it was a stinger, so once a week during that season of football, I would go to a chiropractor who would basically re-align my head and neck area.... (it felt like that doc. was going to break my neck each time)...and they would give me some physical therapy in that area for it. Then after that Sophomore season, I played my final two years of high school football without having that issue again. I'm not saying it's the same thing, and I realize NFL collisions are a ton worse than what I experienced, but here's to the hope that he can come back and play again without issues. 1 Quote

AlCowlingsTaxiService Posted March 14 Posted March 14 Wasn’t there a Bills DB who was pretty promising, but had to leave the game due to narrowing of the spinal column? Quote

He was playing hurt towards the end of last season - missed 2 games with a knee, and probably had back/side bruising too courtesy of "friendly fire" from Taylor Rapp. But, he's gonna be 30 at the start of next season, which is getting long in the tooth for a CB. I suspect the Bills would like him back on a 1 year contract and may well have a tentative offer on the table, but Douglas is likely hoping for a multi year deal. Quote

Why do I immediately think of the 1988 AFC Championship game when I think of Burroughs? I can't remember exactly what it was, but it seems he was a goat of some kind in that game... and not in a good goat kind of way. Quote
