Logic Posted March 12 Posted March 12 I view the entire continuum from the Senior Bowl, to the combine, to pro days, to free agency, to the draft, to post-draft free agency...to be pretty damned fun. Maybe it's from all the drought years where the offseason was all we Bills fans had, but...I love this time of year! Then there's a brief lull, and before you know, it's time for the schedule release, OTAs, minicamp, and training camp. Gotta love the year-round way the NFL has built their schedule. Beats any other sport by a country mile. 1 Quote

BuffaloBillyG Posted March 12 Posted March 12 I always liked the old "Plan B" free agency time period. Quote

Homey D. Clown Posted March 12 Posted March 12 Agree. It's also void of all the circus garbage, green room crap, and now the stupid player mirror thingy. I miss the NFL when it was about football. Quote
devldog131 Posted March 14 Posted March 14 (edited) Some of us old fogies still remember the Great TSW Mario Williams Watch of 2012. That thread is Two Bills Drive gold. More than 4600 replies, more than 3700 between just between March 14th and 15th. I wore off my fingerprints on my F5 key, posts were coming in faster than you could read them. You can still witness it in all its glory in the archive: "Ground up and in the freezer" Edited March 14 by devldog131 Quote

Bosa could really transform the defense. I remember the game when he sacked Allen 3 times and wishing we had someone like that playing for us. He’s also knows how to punch the ball out which will fit in perfectly with this group. What gives me hope are his injuries aren’t knee related or always in the same place. I honestly believe he’s just been unlucky. He’s only had 2 seasons that really kept him out most of the year. It’s a good gamble for Beane to make. Quote

Look at the drafts over the years and see how few players turn out to be special. And after about the 2nd or 3rd round many of us never heard of the player! Quote

It really was the first time since the mid 90s that the entire NFL world was paying attention to Buffalo. Man, I didn't get a damn thing done at work those two days. Quote
