Bruffalo Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Another low risk/high reward guy, which I love because he can compete for a starting job that's very snatchable from Damar Hamlin. At worst he's better depth than Cam Lewis or Cine. 1 Quote

This kid might end up being something. Micah Hyde had also been one of my favorite players going back to his GB days. When we signed him I yelled to my now wife "WE GOT HIM MICAH HYDE. YESSSSSSSS" She just stared at me and now she owns his jersey 2 1 1 Quote
Luka Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago If he comes into camp in 2022 form, this is the best signing of free agency for us. Quote

Indeed, I had some real hopes for that pick-up. I kind of get the same vibe from this signing. Hopefully he won't leave mid-season to go somewhere else to win a SB. 1 Quote

I know you're half joking but I think there is much better proof of concept than that in Forrest. Cine never started because of his gruesome rookie year injury. Forrest was a starter in his 2nd and 3rd seasons, although missed most of the 3rd season with a shoulder injury. Then he lost his job last year when the new coaching staff took over. I'm not going to throw any confetti but there are real reasons to be optimistic about this signing. 1 Quote
njbuff Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago This signing SHOULD NOT dissuade the Bills from drafting Nick Emmanwori if he’s there at 30. 1 1 1 Quote

A guy many haven't even necessarily heard of, but who has great athleticism and has flashed playmaking ability. He signs and everyone says "looks like a depth and special teams guy", and then he comes out of nowhere and wins a starting spot. I'm not saying he'll be as good as Poyer. I'm just saying...before you say "depth only"...give the guy a chance. If there's one area where I'll happily defer to McDermott and co, its the safety position. In any case, Bishop, Rapp, Forest, and Hamlin are likely your four safeties. Drafting one now seems unlikely. From that highlight clip, my first reaction was he reminds of Poyer. 1 1 Quote

This kid has a legit shot to be a quality starter as much if not more than Cine did. I think McBeane just goosed Cole Bishop for real. Quote

Poyer was a fairly big contract given to a player with not that many starts under his belt. Fans were dead wrong on Poyer but they loved Hyde 1 Quote

Low Positive Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago I think in this case and with Ogunjobi, Beane and the coaching staff found guys that were underperforming due to poor scheme fits and used that to get good value. 2 Quote

I'm glad they are not just handing him the job, nothing he did last year warranted that. To me it should be Forrest competing with Hamlin for the FS role and Rapp competing with Bishop for the SS role, most likely with some rookie addition involved in the competition as well. 1 1 Quote

I thought the same thing. 1 Quote

Anybody that thinks they are going to use another high pick on a safety for the second year in a row isn't paying attention. 2 Quote
Moulds 808080 Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Good Lord the Bills are getting some high motor guys!!! I don't care if it special teams or guy mopping the gym!! Great job!!! 👍 👏 0 Quote

To be fair for what 7 of those 8 years they knew who their starters were and didn't need one 6 Quote
