You want to know someone who has won the offseason in Buffalo? This guy:

Garbage take. It takes years to assess a draft. Period. And 2022 was fantastic. Who cares what round you find your people in? Not only that, his one miss in the first round is Elam. If you call Kincaid a miss after his second year, I can’t process that bad logic.

Beane's very good at finding starters in the draft. Where he fails is finding elite or impact players.

But but... a poster in the Joey Bosa thread tells us:  "Beane can't scout or draft, so he resorts to desperate FA signings"

LOL, perpetually negative fans add spice to this board.

Considering the Bills were like 15 mil over the cap a couple weeks ago despite the cap increase, it’s nothing short of incredible what he’s pulled off here.

To completely retain AND rebuild the team in 1 offseason almost seems impossible but somehow or another he’s managed.

If this isn’t A+ for a manager…I don’t know what is.

"A+" would be building the best roster in the league, something he's never accomplished and is unlikely to accomplish this season.

Remember, the Bills were $15M over the cap because of Beane's past decisions.  We could have been chasing bigger names and better talents if he had managed the cap better in previous years.

I'm not giving Beane an "F" by any means.  But he's got a lot more to do before I award him an "A+."

Free agency is truly the best time of the year for Bills' fans.

FA and draft are my favorite time of the year for sure.

The season is generally too stressful. And I genuinely HATE watching Bills vs Chiefs playoff games (because I fully expect our impending doom as a traumatized Bills fan)

Although I will admit the 2024 regular season was a lot of fun and relatively drama free. This was an exception.

To win a Super Bowl you need more than one impact player.

Wasn’t diggs an impact player? Does it matter how you get them? And a QB is the most important position to have an impact player in. Just let that sink in before you start typing.

While QB is important, he can't do it all alone. Look at the Eagles. They had a great QB, but also had an elite RB, an elite WR. On defense they had a dominant DT and top CB.

I'd have this offseason in the C+ or B- range so far pending the draft.

People on here act like Beane is a wizard for restructuring some contracts to open up cap space when literally every single team does it.

The extensions were pretty decent $$ amounts, especially Josh's.

The only multi year contracts to FA's feel like overpays (Palmer and Hoecht). The 1 year deals to Bosa and Ogunjobie are low risk if they can stay healthy maybe they have a big impact type deals. Guessing he padded those out with void years as well, but we'll see.

Overall he's added some decent role players at decent prices. Nothing to write home about

This isn't one of those drafts. If he doesn't make a splash move, then he MUST draft a serious DROY and/or OROY candidate if we have any hope of winning a SB the next two years. Ideally we need both like a Stroud/Anderson type of draft. That's going to be extremely difficult considering we pick at the end of each round.
