Considering the Bills were like 15 mil over the cap a couple weeks ago despite the cap increase, it’s nothing short of incredible what he’s pulled off here.

To completely retain AND rebuild the team in 1 offseason almost seems impossible but somehow or another he’s managed.

If this isn’t A+ for a manager…I don’t know what is.

He needs to hit on this draft before any MVP's are handed out

This is what happens when you clean out older expensive players last year... and keeping you eye on the future.  You can make a few nice movies.

Guess what?  in 2 years BB is going to have to cleanout older players again.  He learned how to cycle the cap.  Next year Matt Milano is going to be cut.  Ed Oliver will be cut in 2 years... releasing players with still just a good year or two left in them is ok.   Don't wait until they are too old.   Mitch Moorse... retired this off season... but was released last year... this is perfect example.

Garbage take. Drafts take multiple years to assess. I remember how everyone hated the 2022 draft. Even with the Elam miss that draft is solid. More than solid.

This draft is going to make or break Beane this year. He really needs to identify an elite player at a position of need. Corner, edge, DT or wide receiver. He's been whiffing big time. Hopefully Bishop plays better this season because it looks like Beane is standing firm at safety after re-signing Hamlin this morning. Not sure if it's our scouting department or what. Great in the late rounds but can't seem to get the big one in the first, aside from Josh of course.

Jim Overdorff likely deserves some credit here. By my understanding, he's the one that handles contracts and salary cap.

In any event the Bills have done just what teams do around the NFL every year that are over the cap. They make moves, get under and sign players. New Orleans started somewhere around $50M over and are still signing guys

You are going to make the Beane haters very angry.

He is currently doing his job; the quality of his work will be assessed next February. He still has a draft to finalize. The issues we encountered with the cap were due to the contracts he issued.

Its a damn good take, he has missed more than hit on 1st and 2nd rounders.  There are several draft picks not even on this team.

I think you misspelled jets

They were the defending two-time offseason champions, but this offseason reality has set in. Jets fans I know think this is the beginning of another rebuild. Even the NY media isn't hyping them up like they were the past couple of years.

Garbage take. It takes years to assess a draft. Period. And 2022 was fantastic. Who cares what round you find your people in? Not only that, his one miss in the first round is Elam. If you call Kincaid a miss after his second year, I can’t process that bad logic.

And Im not going to debate the facts with someone that can't comprehend them.
