Roundybout Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago (edited) Per WGR. My take is “I guess so.” I don’t like him as a starter, but depth is fine. Edited 5 hours ago by Roundybout 4 6 2 3 1 1 5 Quote
KingBoots8 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Meh. I don’t hate this as we need bodies in the secondary but we should 100% be looking for an upgrade in the draft. 8 2 2 Quote
TheyCallMeAndy Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I’d imagine it’s backup money, but I love him as the third safety. Who knows, maybe he earns another starting job. 2 Quote

boyst Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago he's not as bad as people say but we could certainly get better at the position. He does not make mistakes. He is a micah Hyde light. 10 1 1 Quote
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I love having him on the team and he belongs here emotionally but I don’t want him starting. You want to use him on STs and backing up a more athletic guy..love it 2 3 Quote

KentuckyBillsFan Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Yeah I'm just ready to move on from Hamlin and see what the draft offers at this point. We need more upside players on our defense. 1 1 1 1 Quote
Buffalo03 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I was really hoping they would part ways with him 4 1 1 Quote

I'm actually shocked the Steelers didn't grab him for depth. Great PR move, local kid and knows Tomlin well. I'm ok bringing him back and hopefully it's as depth. But he does have a lot of experience for a guy his age and doesn't prevent the Bills from still going safety at some point in the first two days of the draft if the value is there. 1 3 1 Quote
Back2Buff Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Hopefully for the vet minimum so you get the salary cap benefit. Quote
JohnBonhamRocks Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago There are worse third safeties when considering his starting experience. Surprised he did not go to PIT. 1 3 Quote
MWK Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I'd rather take my chances with just about anyone else. He is terrible. 1 3 3 1 Quote
davefan66 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Probably low cost. They will certainly upgrade at safety beyond him. If he sticks with good competition at the position, good for him. I just don’t expect it to be as a starter. 2 Quote
MasterStrategist Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Love Hamlin, but sincerely hope he isn't our starter this season. Hamlin is quality backup, Rapp is a borderline starter. Still think we need to grab another FA to compete, and hope Bishop steps up. Quote
Simon Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago His game took a fairly impressive leap forward this year. He's a weak spot as a starter but I'm very happy the Bills kept him around as quality depth. 5 4 11 Quote
Big Blitz Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Good tackler. Good for the locker room. Decent for depth. No issue with it. 5 Quote
wppete Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Awful. Was hoping to move on from him. We need to improve at safety. Hes a 3rd stringer at best. 3 Quote
Virgil Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I like that it's only a one year deal, because that shows that the FO is about as high on him as we are. 5 Quote
