He's much better than the rotating bodies of last year. Not the monster 1 the we all want, but there is no risk in these one-year deals, especially since he is a release and not a comp pick guy.

Makes no sense, honestly will just end up hampering a top DT from getting on field.   He fills zero need.  This is not the DT we need, unless the plan on cutting DaQuan Jones.

A pick in the late 3rd round and "massive draft blunder" don't associate.....

True. I include the trade-down in my thought process. It was a mistake, so far.

Just the fact that when he was healthy he was a healthy scratch behind street free agents is a major red flag for me.

Are you assuming Carter is gonna be a starter?
