A rotational piece on a DL that plays a lot will get around this salary. I don’t think Bosa or Ogunjobi changes much at all. They will still draft a DE and a DT most likely fairly high in the draft. If the draft plays out the way they want it I think this might be the end of the road for Epenesa and/or Jones Bosa ($13) Ogunjobi ($8m), and Palmer ($12m) comes to $33m. DK Metcalf also got $33m. 4 Quote
Warriorspikes51 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Solid DT. I wonder if DaQuan could be released? Quote

He was very bad for most of the year. So bad that they wouldn’t even dress him 1 Quote
Bills!Win! Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago The real question is what is his madden rating in madden 25? Quote

He fits everything they look for from a player and character perspective. It wouldn't be my preference but it's not my worst case scenario either. Would be a very safe pick and maybe Beane could use a single or double on his recent 1st round resume. If he is there at #30 he is almost certainly BPA. I don't love a safety there but he would likely be a tier above what else is available. Quote

If I was laying out my ideal day 1 and 2 draft scenario it would be CB 1st round, then the best WR available and the best DL available with our 2nd round picks. Then trade back into the 3rd round and take the best safety or DL available. Obviously I don't expect Beane to actually have such a hyperspecific plan, nor would I want him to, but if the value fell that way it would be perfect for our needs and based on the draft class I think it's somewhat realistic. Agree. I'm not a fan of remaining CB options. Samuel isn't high on my list all and don't feel like wasting $4-5m on a 3rd corner type, when we have Elam for that role. I'm hoping we can grab Epps or Blackmon to compete for a starting role at S. I lost a bit of trust in McD last year with secondary decisions. I know Bishop was injured/missed camp time, Edwards missed a huge chunk of camp, but our secondary play was bad. Hopefully they turn it around this year with decisions. 1 Quote

Depends who is there obviously. If Tyleik Williams or Alfred Collins last that far I'd think about it. Suspect both are gone. 1 Quote
Maine-iac Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Still hanging my hope on Amos, Collins, and Mukuba. This signing just solidifies we need a plug at DT and it wouldn't hurt if they were cheap like a draft pick. Quote

Bosa and Ogunjobi both expire after this season while I wouldn't have been against a DK trade comparing players occupying 3 roster spots on completely different contracts to DK a player that would have required additional draft capital and future commitments cap wise is not really a fair comparison. I hope Collins is there. 1 minute ago, GunnerBill said: Surely they have signed Ogunjobi to start? Could it be rotation based on who we are playing? Run heavy is a different look than a passing team? He has familiarity with Mike Pellegrino. Ideally he would end up as the backup behind a highly drafted rookie. 1 Quote
