Yeah, certainly looked better than that linebacker we drafted in the 3rd a couple years before him.  That guy was undersized and completely lost his rookie year.  Whatever happened to him?

I did not word things well. I am saying no one should expect anything from Carter at this point. We should be adding as many proven guys to that position even if it blocks him. I am not expecting anything from the guy, was my point. Draft blunder may be a little harsh.

I like the highlights that are showing his one sack a year lol. The player and cost is fine. 
 

It’s interesting that they are bringing him in. He’s played in both a 4-3 and a 3-4. Hoecht has also done both and the same for Bosa. Are we becoming a multiple defense? 
 

He had his best sack numbers in a 4-3 as a 3 tech. I wonder if the idea is to make Carter both a 3 and a 1 as the last DL on the roster. Lotta questions on fit for this one but they obviously have a plan

Yea in a 4-3 with the Bengals like I said. The highlights being shown of his sacks are with the Steelers which was one a year. That was the joke

You probably said the same thing about Brown and Knox and posted that Bass needed to be cut after his 5th game too.  If you keep saying it about enough players, statistically looking at NFL careers, you'd probably be correct over half the time!

I was the biggest Spencer Brown supporter there is. I also supported Bernard early on and thought he flashed in that Jets game. I think Bass is terrible. I think we can all have our takes and that's the beauty of freedom!

Asked my buddy who's a diehard steeler fan and he said:

 

-Overall does his job

-Very streaky player

-Will have a great game but then will disappear for a while

-Most of the times you don't notice him.

 

Edit: He also added he's pretty good on run defence

Sure, but when you call a guy a bust after he played maybe halfa rookie season before getting hurt, it significantly lowers a persons creditability.
