Feels odd they did all that partly to sign an LT after trading thuney.  Caliendo is pretty bad and will make things tough for Moore imo 

 

if they kept thuney and kicked him back over to guard they probably would be back to one of the best olines in the league for a few years

I mean they already have.  When you're in their position you go all in keeping your big guns around as long as you can

This restructure is about this year though, which I personally don't see a championship team.  There wasnt a team luckier last year, the ball isnt going to always bounce their way.  Mahomes cap hit the next two years is now over 70 million.  They already have two void years in 2032 and 2033 at 60 million cap hit.

Yeah, but the games before the Super Bowl still exist and they’ve proven their ability to get to the big game for years on end. As long as Andy Reid is still their coach, they’ve got as good as chance as anybody. Dammit, I hate saying that.

It will be interesting to see how they do. Obviously have the most important position locked up. Will Rice and Worthy be good wrs for them? Kelcie is old, defense is getting old.

 

With the AFCW getting better, their division isn't the cakewalk it's been in the past

First thought went to oh god, are they going to make a play for Hendrickson now? But, if the working theory is that Cinci has no interest in trading him to us, they probably have even less interest in moving him to KC unless they get absolutely blown away with an offer they can't refuse (and if that were to happen, hopefully KC would have to give up so much it ends up biting them. Bonus points if they get him, pay him 30+ apy and he does his best Von ACL impression).
