I was referring to this video where he specifically says "I can't handle the cold up there" to a Bills fan saying he should come to Buffalo...

I love the signing. I believe Bosa will thrive here. He will be playing w a big lead a lot more than w Chargers.

Risk reward is perfect for the money. Any pass rusher capable of double digit sacks is going to command 10 plus million.

I can’t believe anyone here really thought Cinci was going to trade us Hendrickson. That’s looney tunes.

It’s a good signing. Risky, sure, but it’s only a one year deal and it’s not your money.

It doesn’t stop us from drafting a DE, but it takes the pressure off of reaching early.

Who else out there who was realistically available did people want? Not Garrett, not Crosby, not Hendrickson. Sweat? Meh.

I'm sorry, this just reminds me of when we signed another often-injured, past his prime Charger - Shawne Merriman.

Thankfully, it's only one year, but he'll almost certainly give us less production than Leonard Floyd did 2 years ago, but for more money.

Merriman was finished after year 3 in the NFL. He was a known PED junkie and his body was completely broken down by the time he got here. People were excited because of his name, but anybody worth their salt knew that he was cooked. It was a move to sell tickets. At least Joey Bosa seems to be trending upwards injury wise going from 5 healthy games to 9 and then 14 last year. He will be able to get acclimated slowly given the rotational scheme the Bills run. 12 million is a bargain even if Bosa can get back to 80% form. Rousseau, AJE, Bosa, 1st round rookie is a very respectable lineup. I’m a fan of the move. The motivation will be there on a 1 year contract. Bosa knows this this year will determine the rest of his NFL career. Hopefully his body doesn’t fail him.

I do think it would be, as currently situated, more than just a "dip" in talent at RB. Cook did some really impressive things last season.

I don’t think it’s as big as people are making it sound tbh…if cook was a better pass blocker maybe id be more nervous about letting him walk.hes great at what he’s good at but has a glaring weakness too

the other big money rbs are far ahead of him in that area

Merriman fell off a cliff w production. Word was PED suspension killed him .

Bosa has been relatively consistent w his production, factoring injury.

In his last 18 starts , he had 14 sacks. Yes, this took 3 seasons but when he's on field he provides a pass rush.

Much younger. Von turns 36 this year. Bosa will turn 30.

Oh, crap.  My bad. He’s practically a rookie!!!

I think i like it?!?.........somebody please tell me if i like this or not.

Basically, there are three options...

1. He could be the missing piece who will make things better pass rush-wise and hopefully help make Greg better and put us over the top.

2. He's a washed-up steroid using guy whose probably going to get injured and he doesn't like the cold.

3. He's a JAG at this point, solid player but does not move the needle.

Choose your destiny! Very good chance one of those is the outcome.

Pretty much. I don't think there's a single new player signing that I would rule the Bills out from drafting. I want reinforcements at DE, DT and WR. I'd love it if the team takes another big swing but if this is what the roster looks like going into draft day I'd say we are pretty darn close to where we ended last year with three picks in the top 62 and effective red shirt seasons for Carter and Solomon

And I said it before and I'll say it again: of all DEs who actually made it to the open market (Crosby and Garrett had money thrown at them, the Bills can't force a Hendrickson trade) there is no one with a higher ceiling than Bosa. It's hard for me to be mad at taking a one year swing at a guy whose been to the Pro Bowl five times including last year. If it doesn't work out, oh well, you got the chance to get a guy on a rookie deal up to speed.

Some guy yelling in his ear and with a camera in his face and you take his calm and cool comment to heart? He was just being calm and saying get away from me without being rude.
