I hear you- I just don't see where he fits in. As I can't see them having 6 DEs active on game day. (Assuming they draft a guy relatively high)

 

But if they classify Hoecht as a DT, then that changes the numbers at DE which would help Solomon

I'm referring to our Jordan Phillips (#97 with a winter coat under a jersey) to demonstrate size isn't the mark of a guy bring a 1 tech.

True. But we have 10 draft picks & can't roster 10 rookies. We have the draft capital to trade & we can afford the extension. Buying a Walmart discount for a broken down player won't get it done. Tune to spend more at Tiffany's for a difference maker. I worry that bc of what happened w/ Von, Beane's afraid to make that kind of investment. But being timid won't get us a Lombardi. He needs to be bold. Josh is in his prime & times ticking. Hopefully Bosa outperforms my expectations.
