I don’t see this as removing DE from the discussion at 30. In fact, I think it shouldn’t. 
 

Bosa is on a one year deal and AJ is free agent next year too. That leaves Groot, Solomon and Hecht as the only under contract past this season with Groot being the only real hand-in-the-dirt 4-3 edge. 
 

If the BPA left is a DE, I’m still all over that

It's really not dissimilar to the Leonard Floyd deal.

I like this a lot.  One year deal.  He's 29 and still effective except for his injury history.  I think we'll get at least as much from Bosa as we got from Miller on a much less onerous contract.  If he gets injured again, not big deal. 

 

Realistically this is all the Bills can ask for, they really can't get a Hendrickson level guy inside their cap.
