The Bills have been awarded two compensatory 2025  draft picks, both in the fifth round. Picks No. 169 and No. 173.

Knowing you’re only gonna roster maybe four or five rookies, I would expect these to be used to trade up even further. Or at least least one of them.

Use those 2 to move up and get WR Dont'e Thornton Jr.  To me it would be worth the toss of the dice.

That top of the 4th is practically a late 3rd.  Trading 108 and 131 would get you about pick 96 (bottom portion of 3rd).  Obviously depends on who is still available around pick 96, but at this point I’d rather have both 108 and 131.

As you say,,,ir depends on who is available at the time  …. They moved up from the 4th to the bottom of the 3rd to draft Dawson Knox I recall…( think they traded 2 fourths from memory)

Sweet!! 2 CB’s who will start next year!!

You jest but these are ammo to move up in the draft. Could well become at least one starting CB.

Hopefully Beane uses all these picks as ammo to move up and het players that will actually contribute and not lose them after we cut them.

They should just trade everything for multiple picks below Round 3.

Beane doesn’t draft so well in Rounds 1 and 2

Nice! I hope Beane uses some of those 5th and 6th round picks to move up into the 4th round if there is someone they covet!

We have better luck in the 5th…

Something to keep in mind....rosterability.  There is not enough room on the roster for all the picks we currently hold, so I expect to see some movement up the board from Beane.

Exactly. But the cheap contracts are 100% necessary. You have to build with the draft when you have a top QB.

It's a fair point!

plus, Kyle Williams was a 5th rounder.  They always say you can get good DTs in the 5th

got that by trading a 5th last year, right?  low 5th for a high 4th.  pretty good
