BRH Posted March 12 Posted March 12 So… We’re basically keeping everyone we want to keep, AND convincing player after player to come here from Southern California for the winter. Are those palm trees I see growing around One Bills Drive? Or just a bunch of W’s? 1 Quote

Agreed, and if anyone had asked me which I would have preferred to keep, I would have said Ty Johnson all the way. Love Mack and the way he stepped up last season, but if we had re-signed him we would have been paying for past performance rather than for the role we expect him to play in 2025, and that’s no way to run a franchise. 1 Quote

I was just about to say it's wild to me how this re-signing has way more likes than the other three pinned signings combined. Easy guy to root for. Plus, we've never seen the other three in a Bills uniform. Keep in mind that this was the reaction to the Mack Hollins deal last March. Kind of funny reading through it. https://www.twobillsdrive.com/community/topic/253649-bills-sign-mack-hollins/ Edited March 12 by Doc Brown Quote

RyanC883 Posted March 12 Posted March 12 love it. most complete back on the team. Huge for 3rd down conversions. 1 Quote
dollars 2 donuts Posted March 12 Posted March 12 Man...I kind of think I want Ty Johnson to retire a Bill. This role that he plays is easily playable into his early 30s. Quote
TheFunPolice Posted March 12 Posted March 12 Love this signing! Versatile player, good value, and just all around likeable guy Quote

What's not to like? And oh yeah. I like the Johnson signing, but he is the type of player that if we had signed from another team would get a lot of sarcastic "SuperBowl" and "who?" posts here. 1 Quote

Remember back in 2023 when this place was convinced that our biggest weaknesses were RT and MLB? Sometimes OBD knows more about players than TBD. I know, hard to believe. Quote
Bruffalo Posted March 12 Posted March 12 Maybe this is hyperbole but I think Ty Johnson is maybe the best RB3 in the NFL. He's top 3 at worst. I'm consistently impressed with the way he plays. Quote
