Our RB room was a strength, glad to see it remains in tact.

I think cook is worth it, I'd like to see an agreement reached there or at the very least it to not turn into a distraction.  Would love to see the RB room come in motivated and hungry as opposed to distracted and angry. Money and people are involved so this situation could go a lot of ways.

Im not arguing that  fact I’m just prefacing that there will be value in taking a RB late in the draft versus other positions and I could see Beane adding a guy if he’s at the top of the board. These guys look beyond just next season when drafting. Johnson may have gotten two years but it might only be a 1 year deal for all we know

I don't think stockpiling RBs is prudent. Get 'em when you need 'em.

I don't think so. Unless we trade Cook during the draft, and we are not carrying 4 RBs on the roster.

Maybe a UDFA to get some looks in preseason.

If Cook isn’t extended by the draft, I could see Bills drafting a RB on day 3.  The draft is deep in RBs this year.  Plus, Bills aren’t going to let a player potentially derail the season with a contract dispute/holdout.

Yeah I'm good with this deal. You're paying for those few plays a year he makes that go above and beyond the scheme. The downfield catch against Miami, the wheel route against Detroit, the 4th down TD catch against Denver in the playoffs. I'm all for rewarding players that create plays.
