Ok that wasn't fair. Coke jokes are fun tho...

Anyway, it is my understanding that the Bills put offers to everyone they wanted to bring back, which is literally most every free agent and at an offer they'd like - and there has been little to write down about Cook but I don't know much there

Evidently the off-season map started a long time ago and included the values of every player they had and who they wanted. They made the offers to their guys open ended. They extended offers to people they wanted. They are waiting the game now.

so my understanding from what you are telling us here as you were told, Rasul Douglas and Damar Hamlin have offers they can sign if the market offers them less or if the same and they just want to leave?

Seems like Smoot would be another guy in this boat.  Smoot makes a lot of sense to return and possibly jordan phillips also.

Love this...was really hoping he was coming back.  I don't know that I want him out there every snap on the final drive of the AFCCG per se, but I think he is a valuable role player for sure who also made some big plays for us in big moments.

I love this guy! He always appears ready to play and contribute. I honestly can’t think of a time when he was disappointing. I can’t say that about quite a few, much higher paid, players.

So if Cook gets say 13 mill per - that’s only 18 million on the RB room.

That’s good right?

Was worried Ty would want 5 per.  And the Bills get uncomfortable with almost 20 mill at RB.

Excellent move, he does his 1/11th very well,

Though he might have got 2 x $3m …. Maybe someone offered him that and he decided to stay in Buffalo?

I figured he would get like 2/8 or 2/9. That seems to be market rate for really good third down backs (eg, justice hill).

Ty reminds me of a quicker less powerful Kevin Faulk. Dude just catches everything and makes a few critical plays. He's going to be 28 makes sense the Bills would want him back. Bills line up a critical role player. Very solid piece of business.

He’s also a great pass pro RB. Saved Josh on several occasions last season.
