wppete Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago This is a huge signing. He’s a big piece on this offense and keeps Cook fresh along with Davis. We have 3 stud RBs w roster. 1 Quote

Anyway, it is my understanding that the Bills put offers to everyone they wanted to bring back, which is literally most every free agent and at an offer they'd like - and there has been little to write down about Cook but I don't know much there Evidently the off-season map started a long time ago and included the values of every player they had and who they wanted. They made the offers to their guys open ended. They extended offers to people they wanted. They are waiting the game now. so my understanding from what you are telling us here as you were told, Rasul Douglas and Damar Hamlin have offers they can sign if the market offers them less or if the same and they just want to leave? Seems like Smoot would be another guy in this boat. Smoot makes a lot of sense to return and possibly jordan phillips also. 1 Quote
Alphadawg7 Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Love this...was really hoping he was coming back. I don't know that I want him out there every snap on the final drive of the AFCCG per se, but I think he is a valuable role player for sure who also made some big plays for us in big moments. Quote
DapperCam Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Just sayin’ if Allen’s desperation heave at the end of the AFCCG was to Ty Johnson instead of Kincaid, then we’re probably playing in the SB. 1 3 1 Quote
Lost Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago I know he's a 3rd down back but this almost feels like an underpay. Ty has been clutch for us 3 1 1 Quote
SoCal Deek Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago I love this guy! He always appears ready to play and contribute. I honestly can’t think of a time when he was disappointing. I can’t say that about quite a few, much higher paid, players. 1 Quote
Big Blitz Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago So if Cook gets say 13 mill per - that’s only 18 million on the RB room. That’s good right? Was worried Ty would want 5 per. And the Bills get uncomfortable with almost 20 mill at RB. Quote
JohnBonhamRocks Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Good re-sign and great value. We can rest easy at another position for now. If we want, then we can have this running back room the next two seasons. Quote
Aesop Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Love it!! Dude belongs in Buffalo and embodies everything I want in a 3rd down RB. Great in pass pro and has great hands. 1 Quote
Don Otreply Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Excellent move, he does his 1/11th very well, Quote
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Here we go. Now go fix the defense. The offense is great on repeat Quote
JMM Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Great!!! He was terrific at times last year, especially in passing game. An underrated player for us. Quote

I figured he would get like 2/8 or 2/9. That seems to be market rate for really good third down backs (eg, justice hill). 1 Quote

He's going to be 28 makes sense the Bills would want him back. Bills line up a critical role player. Very solid piece of business. He’s also a great pass pro RB. Saved Josh on several occasions last season. 1 Quote
