Low Positive Posted yesterday at 12:55 PM Posted yesterday at 12:55 PM The two worst days in an NFL fan's life: The day your team signs Mack Hollins and the day your team lets him go. 1 Quote

A guy like that deserves to be on a championship team. He came a year too soon IMO Outside of Josh he represents what the Bills Mafia is. Passionate and a little whacky Quote

Oh well, here's to hoping we made the right decision Maybe, but the blocking, seemingly clutch play, personality, celebrating other players, being a pest to other teams is tough to replace It looks like I'm going to be disappointed too. I wouldn't mind letting him go if they upgraded the position. I would consider J Palmer an upgrade but we also don't have A Cooper - if they bring back A Cooper I'm fine with it (or C Kupp or maybe D Johnson?). I'm less enthused by a rookie, they are unpredictable and take time to develop - and I was hoping they would gear up for 2025 and take a run at the #1 seed. Quote

My memory may be rose tinted, but I remember about one big play a game from him. What facts do we know about what Beane offered him? Maybe Beane didn't offer anything at all. In my guesstimation, Beane offered Hollins a one year contract and Hollins opted for the two years he was offered by NE. FWIW, this is what he got from NE: 2025: Base salary: $2,000,000 Signing bonus: $750,000 Roster bonus: $850,000 Workout bonus: $150,000 Incentives: $1,000,000 Salary cap hit: $3,750,000 2026: Base salary: $2,900,000 Signing bonus: $750,000 Roster bonus: $850,000 Workout bonus: $150,000 Incentives: $1,000,000 Salary cap hit: $4,650,000 He averaged less than 2 catches and 25 yards per game, so I doubt he had a big play every game.
