That's just bogus 😆 Mack Hollins has 2,000 yards and 15 TDs in his entire 7 year career.

 

Josh Palmer has 2,200 yards and 10 TDs in just 4 years. Palmer has twice the production rate.

I was a huge fan of Hollins, and I was happy when he was signed. I hate to see him go. In the end, he was exactly what I thought he would be in terms of his role, but he far exceeded expectations. A real clutch player, effective end zone guy, and down-field blocker.

 

That being said, while he did exceed expectations, his use as a blocker may have proved redundant, and his main flaw-- his ability to gain separation-- was certainly real. We have a strong enough TE room that we don't need a WR to be played like one. 

 

Still... sad he won't be a Bill.

Palmer seems like a starter at WR Mack is/was a role player mainly a WR 4/5 just two different roles.

I would have preferred to see him back for just what kind of edge he gave us. This team isn't the most physical or brash or confident and he seemed to give us a real edge. Palmer is most certainly an upgrade, but at that price, I'm surprised we didn't pay for the ST's and leadership TBH. Never thought I would say it but he will be missed. Thanks for your time and your Facebook tutorials.
