I know getting “that guy” at a premium spot is tough but it would’ve been cool.

Michael Hoecht is an interesting prospect. A 6'4, 310 pound outside backer/DT who clocked a 4.65 forty, 7.05 3Cone, and 4.21 shuttle. In the explosion drills, he recorded 33.5” in the vertical, a 9' 2” broad, and pushed 23 reps on the bench.

I'm confused.  I've seen Hoecht listed at 311 lbs and 267 lbs, 6'4" and 6'7."  There is often some discrepancy from one source to another on height and weight, but not 3 inches and 44 lbs.  If he's really 311 lbs and runs a 4.65, he's going to be tough for offensive lines to handle

 Honestly I would have only paid out the nose for few DEs this offseason. I might have even regretted getting DK at that contract in a year or two

Whenever the Bills sign a guy who I am less familiar with I always do a bunch of looking them up. Seems like Rams fans like him, ST ace (blocked 3 kicks last year) who was an elite rotational defensive linemen who is very versatile. Big guy whose going to help the Bills with physicality on the edge and give the coaches a chance to work in different looks. Seems to me more like a Smoot replacement but with Von gone the Bills certainly needed 2 bodies at DE and they got 1.
