3rdand12 Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago and really Kids Guy is a piece of a puzzle McBabich are scheming up Lets see how he fits once the draft etc are passed. Beane was not swinging hard again in FA . But he has a logic is what it will be. 3 Quote

NoSaint Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago Both WR and DE are shaping up to be a collection of fine enough individual pieces rotating but no cornerstone players I know getting “that guy” at a premium spot is tough but it would’ve been cool. 1 Quote

Warriorspikes51 Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago Michael Hoecht is an interesting prospect. A 6'4, 310 pound outside backer/DT who clocked a 4.65 forty, 7.05 3Cone, and 4.21 shuttle. In the explosion drills, he recorded 33.5” in the vertical, a 9' 2” broad, and pushed 23 reps on the bench. -Draft Diamonds 1 Quote

BigAl2526 Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago (edited) I'm confused. I've seen Hoecht listed at 311 lbs and 267 lbs, 6'4" and 6'7." There is often some discrepancy from one source to another on height and weight, but not 3 inches and 44 lbs. If he's really 311 lbs and runs a 4.65, he's going to be tough for offensive lines to handle Edited 16 hours ago by BigAl2526 1 1 Quote
Warriorspikes51 Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago FWIW over 1200 votes on the league X announcement of this signing (I think it was Ian’s post) 77% of voters said good signing for Bills 1 1 Quote

Doesn't seem to have the body mass to defend against the run from the inside on a regular basis. I wonder if he can set/maintain the edge better than AJE? Quote

Agreed. Beane is Uncool. there said it. Honestly I would have only paid out the nose for few DEs this offseason. I might have even regretted getting DK at that contract in a year or two Not the the time to swing hard for the fences as soon as they realized what MylesG was going to haul in 3 minutes ago, BigAl2526 said: I think he'll probably have more snaps at DE, flipping inside on obvious passing downs. L Ron Burgundy Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago He's kinda like the Hollins on defense? Swiss army knife type guy? Interesting signing. 1 Quote

Likely not his task ? and good point about AJ E. is he expendable now ? Bills need a sincere effort at Edge who can play any down needed and they are playing light outside they better solve heavy inside. Draft coming Quote
billsfan89 Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago Whenever the Bills sign a guy who I am less familiar with I always do a bunch of looking them up. Seems like Rams fans like him, ST ace (blocked 3 kicks last year) who was an elite rotational defensive linemen who is very versatile. Big guy whose going to help the Bills with physicality on the edge and give the coaches a chance to work in different looks. Seems to me more like a Smoot replacement but with Von gone the Bills certainly needed 2 bodies at DE and they got 1. 6 1 1 Quote
