HappyDays Posted March 10 Posted March 10 https://x.com/TomPelissero/status/1899235715369558493?s=19 Â I'll admit I know nothing about him. It's 3 years up to $24M. 1 Quote
gonzo1105 Posted March 10 Posted March 10 love this deal. Reminds me of Andrew Van Ginkel just hasn’t gotten as many opportunities yet as a UDFA. He’d is a guy I was and am really high on 3 1 3 Quote
MWK Posted March 10 Posted March 10 Hopefully better than most of Beane’s DL signings 3 1 2 1 Quote

SoonerBillsFan Posted March 10 Posted March 10 Good solid signing. It's not everyday you sign a "Unicorn "  https://thejetpress.com/ny-jets-targeting-hybrid-unicorn-defensive-lineman-michael-hoecht-free-agency-01jnxx0snckm 5 1 1 6 Quote
stlbills13 Posted March 10 Posted March 10 (edited) Need someone to fill me in on this guy. Wouldn't have even said we need a LB.  Ahh I see he's a DL Edited March 10 by stlbills13 Quote
Brand J Posted March 10 Posted March 10 (edited) Trent Murphy-like signing? Just a rotational piece, nothing more. Him and Epenesa are tied for DE3.  EDIT: sounds more like an athletic Lorenzo Alexander type. Went from a 310 DT to a full time outside LB. Most likely still DE3 in the Bills scheme. Simon Posted March 10 Posted March 10 Just now, BillsFan130 said: Tim Settle 2.0?🤢  No, he's more of a DE hybrid. The Rams used him as a 5th rusher at the OLB position I think. 1 2 Quote
Starr Almighty Posted March 10 Posted March 10 13.5 sacks in 4 years this guy is a beast and they only had to give him 24M 16 1 Quote
gonzo1105 Posted March 10 Posted March 10 (edited) I had him as a favorite of mine. Check the timelines. He is a high motor UDFA out of Brown that is always around the football. Had his best year two years ago as a full time starter but went back to PT player this past year after the Rams drafted a ton of guys on the DL.  Fits the Bills character player and smarts  He is not a DT, he was an OLB for the Rams and he will be an edge player for the Bills.  Reminds me of a poor man’s Andrew Van Ginkel in the way he plays. He’d played all over their DL both with his hand in the dirt and standing.  The Bills are two for two on guys I recommended though for more money than I’d like Edited March 10 by gonzo1105 17 2 1 8 Quote
