It is going to be interesting.  I wrote earlier that the fight for the bottom of the roster is going to be difficult.  
 

I wrote on a different thread that it might be wise for Beane to use 2-3 picks to trade up to both limit the size of the class while enhancing the “quality” of the class.

By the way, the Bills now have 64 players under contract.  Of those 64, I see 10 who I think don't really have any shot at making the opening 53 man roster.  Now add 10 draftees of which the top 4/5 picks are likely assured roster spots.

Once again, Beane is trying to fill as many holes in FA before the draft (so we aren't desperate for anything). With that and our current depth, yeah, it will be tough to make this team. Which is why I think this is a draft that we'll see Beane moving around quite a bit (up, generally)---to maximize talent rather than picks. My guess is we come away with like 6 or 7 guys, not 10.

 

The roster is shaping up. I'd still like to see them draft a big DT, another WR, and another Edge, but right now, CB seems to be the only gaping hole. Will we see a FA (not too many good ones left---Samuel, Hilton)? Or will that be our first round pick?

I also think Epenesa gets traded on draft day;  a potential savings against the cap for $6M....replace with him a 1st or 2nd day draft pick

Evan’s isn’t making the team unless someone gets hurt in camp.  
 

Good to have depth in the organization on the PS with Evans and Gore.  This is a deep RB class.  I’d like to see one drafted late but not sure that’s likely now.

I think Shavers and Hardy have legit shots at making final roster.  Assuming no additional FA signings, WR might be Shakir, Coleman, Palmer, Samuel, Shavers and a mid-round speedster draft pick.  Hardy backing up Johnson in the nickel.

Apparently he has beefed up since joining the NFL.  He is really a Smoot replacement.  According to the Roch Dem & C, he is up to 310 LBs and plays both DE and DT.  He also plays either left or right.  Sounds like a nice depth utility D lineman.

He is a 4-3 end.  The confusion is he was a converted 3 tech from college and rookie year.  Last few season played OLB.  Is at 260’s now.  He is a 4-3 end.  With experience in coverage he will be a part of Buffalos rush package on 3 downs.  He will be used in a few different spots to help isolate Oliver, Groot and Bosa in one on one match ups.
