I think if Trubisky were to be cut it would have happened prior to today both to help the Bills cap wise and also to give him the chance to hookup with another team.  At this point would be very surprised to see him cut. 

 

They also have a 4th QB believe his name is Buschle,  I know his wife seems to be the "class mom" for the team, always organizing things for the other wives.  I do think unless White clearly our performs Buschle, could see him getting cut.

Thanks for doing this analysis.  It helps to see things presented in this manner.  Hoecht should probably be considered as more of a DE than a DT.  His most recent playing weight is under 270.  I still expect Beane to add a DE, DT, CB, and Safety in the early draft selections.

Apparently he has beefed up since joining the NFL.  He is really a Smoot replacement.  According to the Roch Dem & C, he is up to 310 LBs and plays both DE and DT.  He also plays either left or right.  Sounds like a nice depth utility D lineman.

I think you have it reversed.  He came in at 310 lbs, now has lost weight and is 267 lbs.  Sorta like Lorenzo Alexander.

I see it differently.  I think they want a camp battle and they want White to win it.  Then they use the bigger cap savings for in season needs.

Spending money on mid players is certainly a way to go, but going into the season with one all pro doesn’t win Super Bowls. So like, what are we doing? This is exactly why I want Beane gone, he’s not capable of putting together a roster that can win it all. I guess that’s why him and McD are so sympatico…they both play not to lose (and end up losing every year).

PFF has him at 310.  The Rams website says 267.   Another site said the Rams website is very inaccurate.  I guess we’ll see when he gets to camp.  He did drop back into coverage often according to a Rams fan site.  Hard to see a 310 lbs lineman being used as a coverage linebacker.

I appreciate you doing this as I am visual as well . I was hoping they would keep Ty Johnson, Mack Hollins , Morris, Gilliam . All were inexpensive good back ups and special team players . I really liked with Mack brought to the team. The rest I expect to be gone.

We still need pass rush help, a starting CB, and maybe a starting Safety.  I'm honestly surprised Beane has signed or acquired a good pass rusher.  I hope he isn't relying on Solomon, Hoecht and AJE to pick up the slack.
